COUNSELLING CUM ADMISSION NOTICE
Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Degree Programme
(Academic Session: 2026-2027)

In continuation of the earlier notification nos.-WBUAFS/CE/999/26, dated- 19-Aug-2026; WBUAFS/CE/1011/26, dated- 26-Aug-2026 and WBUAFS/CE/1024/26, dated- 01-Sep-2026, the Counselling for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Programme (5½ years) for the Academic Session: 2026-2027 in the Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Mohanpur and JIS College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Mogra (Private Veterinary College affiliated by WBUAFS) from the respective Provisional Merit list will be held as per following schedule:

Seat-Matrix for B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Programme (Academic Session: 2026-2027): * PwD seats will be considered on horizontal basis.

The following rank holders of the Provisional Merit list are requested to attend the Counselling. The list of rank holders of the Provisional Merit list for admission of B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Programme (2026-2027) is available in the University website (http://www.wbuafsce.org ).

Candidates will have to bring the following testimonials along with originals for verification at the time of physical reporting and admission failing which the candidate will not be considered for admission:

• Two recent Passport size Colour Photo,
• Printed hardcopy of online filled in Application Form,
• Printed hardcopy of Hall ticket,
• Rank Card of NEET-UG-2026 conducted by NTA,
• Admit Card of NEET-UG-2026 conducted by NTA,
• Original Medical Fitness Certificate issued by any registered Medical Practitioner,
• Self attested photocopy of Secondary Examination Admit Card/ Birth Certificate as age proof,
• Self attested photocopy of Mark sheet of Secondary Examination,
• Self attested photocopy of Mark sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination,
• Self-attested photocopy of SC/ST/OBC /EWS/ PwD Certificate (wherever applicable),
• Valid NCL Certificate for OBC candidates (wherever applicable),
• Domicile Certificate as per the prescribed format (Proforma a1 or a2 or b) as per guidelines of Govt. of West Bengal. (Click here to download the proforma). Domicile Certificate obtained from the West Bengal e-district portal (https://edistrict.wb.gov.in/PACE) will also be accepted as the proof of domicile.
• Declaration on curbing the menace of ragging (Click here to download the proforma).

The Admission fee of Rs. 10,770/-* (Day scholar) and Rs. 17,870/-* (Hosteller) have to be deposited by the selected candidates under the Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Mohanpur on the day of admission by DEMAND DRAFT of any Bank only in favour of "WBUAFS" payable at Kolkata. For JISCOVAS-Mogra, the selected candidates have to deposit an amount of Rs. 10,000/- as Seat Acceptance Fee on the day of Counselling by DEMAND DRAFT of any Bank only in favour of "WBUAFS" payable at Kolkata to appear for physical verification and admission at JISCOVAS, Mogra.

The Venue for Counselling, Physical Reporting and Admission will be at the Examination hall under the Office of the Controller of Examinations, WBUAFS, Vivek Bhawan, 68, K. B. Sarani, Belgachia, Kolkata – 700 037, West Bengal (Nearest location- Belgachia Metro Station, Google map location- Click here to locate ).

Only candidates are eligible to enter into the Counselling venue for Physical Reporting and Admission on presenting the "Printed hardcopy of Hall Ticket" (Click here to download). Entry starts at 10:00 A.M. and ends at 11:30 A.M. Names of the candidates will be announced during counselling and they must be very careful as it will be announced once only. Candidates reporting after 11:30 A.M. will not be entertained.

This is for information to the GTA nominated candidate(s) that the above admission schedule is also applicable for them.

General Instructions:

• The Provisional Merit List has been made as per NEET-UG-2026 All-India Rank and based on the choices for faculty/college and type of seats as filled during online application by the candidates.
• The Provisional Seat Allotment will be made serially from the Provisional Merit list of the respective faculty/college till filling up of the available seats from the respective categories.
• All the admission will be provisional. At any stage if it is found that you are otherwise ineligible or you have suppressed any material information or you have submitted false information/ documents, the admission will stand cancelled.
• The OBC candidates belonging to the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) are only eligible for admission as reserved category candidates. OBC candidates must submit an updated NCL certificate on the day of the physical reporting, counselling and admission failing which the candidate will be treated as Unreserved (UR)/GENERAL. OBC-NCL Certificate and EWS Certificate must be issued in appropriate format on or after 01.04.2026 as per guidelines of Govt. of West Bengal presently in vogue.
• Reservation policies for State Quota Seats will be according to the extant rules of Govt. of WB for admission in reserved seats for SC/ST/EWS/PwD. The Reservation for OBC will be followed as per State Government issued Kolkata Gazette Notification Nos. 944-BCW/MR-23/2026 dated 18.05.2026; 945-BCW/MR-23/2026 dated 18.05.2026 and Labr/85-Emp/EC/1M-01/2025 dated-25.05.2026.
• Seats reserved for SC candidates if unfilled, will be filled up by the ST candidates and vice versa.
• Candidate must have to produce the Domicile Certificate as per the prescribed format (Proforma a1 or a2 or b or e-district) issued by the competent authority only as per guidelines of Govt. of West Bengal (Click here to download the proforma) on the day of the counselling and admission failing which the candidate will not be considered for admission. In case of proforma b or e-district domicile of the parent is furnished, it is required to produce any two of the original ID proof (Voter ID card, Aadhaar Card, Passport) of the concerned parent during the stage of document verification where the said ID cards show that the residential address is in West Bengal. Domicile certificates issued by any elected people’s representative such as municipal commissioner, Councilor of Municipal Corporation/Municipality, Member of three-tier Panchayat system or GTA, MLA or MP are not acceptable.
• Participation in counselling does not constitute a right for admission and the decision of the admission committee is full and final. Candidates who fail to attend Counselling on the notified date and time shall forfeit their claim for admission and participation in further rounds of Counselling (if any).
• If admission process is prolonged on any reporting day, then the candidates may have to stay for next day also.
• University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of seats without assigning any reason thereof. In case of any dispute, the decision of the admission committee shall be full and final.
• The selected candidates must have to submit the downloaded online Anti-Ragging affidavit, it is mandatory for every student and his/her parents to submit an anti-ragging affidavit at the time of first registration and there after each year at the time of subsequent registration through two designated websites, namely www.antiragging.in and www.amanmovement.org .
• Candidates interested for admission in JISCOVAS, Mogra are strongly advised to go through the detailed JISCOVAS-B.V.Sc. & A.H. Prospectus or refer their website (www.jiscovas.org ) regarding course fee structures, institutional regulations, clinical facilities, and accommodation charges prior to exercising choices.
