ADMISSION NOTICE
DECENTRALIZED COUNSELLING
Bachelor of Technology in Dairy Technology [B.Tech. (D.T.)]
(Academic Session: 2026-2027)

Online Applications are invited in the prescribed format for admission in the vacant seats of 1st semester of 04 (four) years B.Tech. (D.T.) Course through Decentralized Counselling for the Academic Session 2026-2027 as finalized after third round of e-Counseling (WBJEE-2026) under the Faculty of Dairy Technology, Mohanpur Campus, Nadia through University website (http://www.wbuafsce.org ).

The admission schedule will be as follows:

• Online Application: 19/08/2026 to 02/09/2026 (up to 11:59:59 P.M.)
• Publication of Provisional Merit list: 07/09/2026 (05:00 P.M.)
• Total Vacant Seats, Date of Counselling, Date of Provisional Admission: To be notified in due course of time in the University website (http://www.wbuafsce.org ).

• Citizenship: The Applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Age- Not less than 17 years as on 31st December in the year of application.
• The candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal.
• The candidates must qualify in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering/Technology (WBJEE-2026) conducted by WBJEEB.
• The candidate must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in science stream from any recognized Board/Council from any institution within West Bengal.
• The candidate must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the above four subjects in regular class mode.
• The candidate must obtain at least 50 % marks (40 % in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD) in above four subjects taken together.

• Admit card of Secondary Examinations /Birth certificate as age proof.
• Mark sheet of Secondary (Class-X) Examinations.
• Mark sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) Examinations.
• SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD Certificate (wherever applicable).
• Latest NCL Certificate for OBC candidates (wherever applicable).
• Domicile Certificate as per the prescribed format (Proforma a1 or a2 or b) as per guidelines of Govt. of West Bengal.

  Domicile Certificate obtained from the West Bengal edistrict portal (https://edistrict.wb.gov.in/PACE ) will also be accepted as the proof of domicile.
• WBJEE-2026 Admit card.
• WBJEE-2026 Rank card.
• Aadhaar Card.

• Applicant can make the payment of online application fee (Non-refundable) [Rs. 1,500/-* for General/OBC/EWS and Rs. 1,200/-* for Reserved Categories (SC/ST/PwD)] by Online Payment (Net-banking/Debit Card/Credit card/UPI).

• The vacant seats will be filled up by the University among the eligible candidates with WBJEE-2026 rank. The final vacant seat-matrix will be notified in due course of time in the University website.
• Candidate must have to produce Domicile Certificate as per the prescribed format (Proforma a1 or a2 or b or e-district) issued by the competent authority only as per guidelines of Govt. of West Bengal (Click here to download the proforma) along with online application as well as on the day of the physical reporting, counselling and admission failing which the candidate will not be considered for admission. In case of proforma b or e-district domicile of the parent is furnished, it is required to produce any two of the following original ID proof (Voter ID card, Aadhaar Card, Passport) of the concerned parent during the stage of document verification where the said ID cards show that the residential address is in West Bengal. Domicile certificates issued by any elected people’s representative such as municipal commissioner, Councilor of Municipal Corporation/ Municipality, Member of three-tier Panchayat system or GTA, MLA or MP are not acceptable.
• Seats reserved for SC candidates if unfilled, will be filled up by the ST candidates and vice versa.
• The OBC candidates belonging to the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) are only eligible for admission as reserved category candidates. OBC candidates must submit an updated NCL certificate during online application failing which the candidate will be treated as Unreserved (UR)/GENERAL. OBC-NCL Certificate and EWS Certificate must be issued in appropriate format on or after 01.04.2026 as per guidelines of Govt. of West Bengal presently in vogue.
• Reservation policies will be according to the extant rules of Govt. of WB for admission in reserved seats for SC/ST/EWS/PwD. The Reservation for OBC will be followed as per State Government issued Kolkata Gazette Notification Nos. 944-BCW/MR-23/2026 dated 18.05.2026; 945-BCW/MR-23/2026 dated 18.05.2026 and Labr/85-Emp/EC/1M-01/2025 dated-25.05.2026.
• Only submission of online application does not constitute a right for admission and the decision of the admission committee is full and final.
• University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of seats without assigning any reason thereof. In case of any dispute, the decision of the admission committee shall be full and final.
• University may cancel or withheld the admission process in unavoidable circumstances.
• The declaration on curbing the menace of ragging must be given along with the online filled-in application form in prescribed format at the time of admission.
