IIM Lucknow offers International Programme in Management for Executives or IPMX (One-year MBA) at its NOIDA Campus. This is a one-year residential programme designed for mid/ senior level professionals to prepare them for top positions in industry roles. Established in 2008, the programme holds the prestigious Triple Crown accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, placing it among the top business programmes globally. A valid GMAT/GRE score is a prerequisite for applying to this programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Executives with bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3 or 4 years of formal education) in any discipline or an equivalent academic pursuit, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA;
In case of the candidate being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the conversion formula provided by the institution/university from where they have obtained the bachelor's/Master's degree. In case the institution/university does not have any conversion formula for converting the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by IIML by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant by 100.
A valid GMAT or GRE score, the score must be valid till last date of application; It is mandatory to submit Official Score card/Test Taker copy (if Official Score card is not yet received) along with the application.
You need to submit the GMAT/GRE score card along with the application form. You should also inform GMAC/ETS. Our GMAT code is J39-VT-55. and GRE Designated Institution (DI) Code is 4988.
NOTE: Online GMAT/GRE (Take home) exam scores are not valid, only test center-based GMAT/GRE scores are valid.
A minimum of 4 years full-time (Regular) post-qualification (after graduation) work experience as on 31st March, 2027.

Selection Process

Candidate fills and submit the application form online Application Form andupload the scanned copies of the documents in support of the attainments mentioned in Eligibility Criteria;
Completed Application Form must be submitted by September 02, 2026 for first phase, October 17, 2026 for second phase, and December 01, 2026 for the third phase.
Candidate provides the contact details with email ids of the recommenders. The suggested recommenders will receive an e-mail requesting them to submit the recommendation letters online directly to the admissions office.
Based on GMAT/GRE scores, candidates are shortlisted for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI);

A candidate’s final score for selection in IPMX for batch 2027-28 will be calculated based on the assigned weights as per the following table:

#Only those candidates who have been shortlisted/selected will be intimated by e-mail, with all the relevant details.
Candidates who apply in IPMX Phase-I and are shortlisted for the WAT and PI but are not selected after the PI process will not be eligible to apply in IPMX Phase-II or Phase-III. Similarly, candidates who apply in IPMX Phase-I or Phase-II and are shortlisted for the WAT and PI but are not selected after the PI process will not be eligible to apply in IPMX Phase-III.

Application Fee Payment

You will be required to make a Payment of INR 5,000/- (Non-refundable) towards Application Fees to complete the application process.
Note that you will not be able to make any changes to the Application once it is submitted. You may like to “Preview” the application very carefully once it is completed before submitting it. The System will allow you to “Preview” the application multiple times before you “Submit” it.
