At its NOIDA Campus, IIM Lucknow offers the Two-Year Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE), formerly known as the Working Managers' Programme (WMP). The PGPWE is a two-year MBA programme specially designed for working executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals who aspire to enhance their managerial knowledge and leadership skills through formal management education while continuing their full-time careers or managing their businesses.
On successful completion of the program, the student gets an MBA degree.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum eligibility criteria for applying to PGPWE: 2027-29 are as below:

Executives with Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3 or 4 years of formal education) in any discipline or an equivalent academic with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA;
In case of the candidate being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the conversion formula provided by the institution/university from where they have obtained the bachelor's/Master's degree. In case the institution/university does not have any conversion formula for converting the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by IIML by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant by 100.
Score of any one of the following tests:
- Valid GMAT/GRE score, the score must be valid till last date of application. Online GMAT/GRE (Take home) exam scores are not valid, only test center-based GMAT /GRE scores are valid. It is mandatory to submit Official Score card/Test Taker copy (if Official Score card is not yet received) along with the application. You need to submit the GMAT/GRE score card along with the application form. You should also inform GMAC/ETS. Our GMAT code is J39- VT-47 and GRE Designated Institution (DI) Code is 4988.
- CAT Score (CAT taken in the year 2024 & 2025 are eligible)
- GATE Score (GATE taken in the year 2025 & 2026 are eligible)
- PGPWE Entrance Exam to be conducted at IIML, Noida Campus;
A minimum of 3 years full-time post-qualification (after graduation) work experience as on March 31, 2027.

Do not include freelance/training/project work done as an integral part of any curricular requirement.

Selection Process

Candidate fills and submit the application form online Application Form and upload the scanned copies of the documents in support of the attainments mentioned in Eligibility Criteria;
Completed Application forms must be submitted by November 18, 2026 (Round 1) or January 15, 2026 (Round 2).
Based on the scores in GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/PGPWE Entrance Exam, candidates are shortlisted for Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview;

After Writing Ability Test & Personal Interview are done, final score is calculated using following components:

Candidates who apply in PGPWE Phase-1 and are shortlisted for the WAT and PI but are not selected after the PI process will not be eligible to apply in PGPWE Phase-2.

Application Fee Payment

You will be required to make a Payment of INR 1,000/- (Non-refundable) towards Application Fees to complete the application process. Note that you will not be able to make any changes to the Application once it is submitted. You may like to “Preview” the application very carefully once it is completed before submitting it. The System will allow you to “Preview” the application multiple times before you “Submit” it.
