Application for Admission 2026

The Under Graduate and Post Graduate applications for admission can be downloaded from the college website. Candidates are advised to visit the college web site (www.sthinducollege.com) for prospectus and instructions for filling up the online applications. Students applying for the courses should fill in the online application and submit it only through online mode. Offline applications will not be accepted.

Application and registration fee for UG Courses: Rs. 50/-

Reservation Rule 2026

Admissions are made purely on the basis of Merit in accordance with the rule of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

1. 31% for Open Competition (OC)
2. 20% for Most Backward Class (MBC) and Denotified Communities (DNC)
3. 30% for Backward Classes (BC), within this 3.5% for Muslims.
4. 18% for Scheduled Castes (SC), within this 3% of seats are offered to Arunthathiyar.
5. 1% for Scheduled Tribes (ST).

Hostel Detail 2026

1. Application for admission to the hostel shall be made in the prescribed form to the Principal, the warden ofthe hostel. Every student on admission to the hostel shall pay Rs. 100/- as admission fee, Rs. 100 as warden fund, Rs. 200/- as Hostel Day contribution, Rs. 4000/- as Caution Deposit, Rs. 1500 as water, light and establishment charges and Rs. 2000 as Room Rent per semester.
2. If the required number of students are admitted in the Hostel, the mess will be run on dividing system. The monthly mess charges will be aboutRs.3000/- to 3500/-. Both vegetarian and nonvegetarianmealswillbeprovided.
3. Every student admitted to the hostel must scrupulously abide by the rules of the hostel.
4. Separate hostel is available for Girls.
