Important Information:

Online applications, in the prescribed format, are invited from candidates desirous of appearing in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) – 2026 and seeking admission subsequent to selection:

Following two rounds of online counseling for candidates who appeared in the JEE (Main) examination—conducted for admission into the first year of undergraduate engineering courses offered by the state's engineering colleges, as well as the B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) and B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses under the Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology, Patna—the remaining vacant seats will be filled through two subsequent rounds of online counseling. These seats will be allotted on the basis of merit-cum-preference to candidates belonging to the PCM Group of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE-2026), conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. These admissions shall also include courses offered by the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women's Institute of Technology (Navodaya Complex, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga), which operates under the aegis of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. Agriculture Stream:
(i) 50% of the seats in the undergraduate Agriculture, Horticulture, and Forestry courses at Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour (Bhagalpur), shall be filled from the combined merit list of the PCM and PCB groups; the remaining 50% of the seats shall be filled from the combined merit lists of the 088 (Chemistry, Biology & Agriculture Sc.), (PCA) Physics, Chemistry & Agriculture Sc., (MBA) Mathematics, Biology & Agriculture Sc., and (MCA) Mathematics, Chemistry & Agriculture Sc. groups.
(ii) The seats for the undergraduate Fisheries Science and B.Sc. Poultry Production courses at Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna, shall be filled from the PCB group of the combined merit list.

Pharmacy Stream: Degree Courses at Government Pharmacy Institutions in Bihar Recognized by the Government.

Medical Stream: Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy / Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology / Bachelor of Operation Theatre Technology / Bachelor of Radio Imaging Technology / Bachelor of Optometry / B.Sc. Nursing (Government / Private) and other allied courses offered by government institutions in Bihar.

The start date for online registration for HA applications has been set for April 15, 2026, and the deadline for May 5, 2026.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination-2026 will be conducted on May 30, 2026, in four shifts, and on May 31, 2026, in one shift.

Board & Website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, participating institutions, and courses—along with necessary instructions for candidates—can be found in the available Information Brochure for the year 2026.
Application Form, Prospectus, and Important Information: Candidates intending to appear for BCECE-2026 may download and obtain the Prospectus from the Board's website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. To fill out the online application form, candidates should visit the aforementioned website of the Board, click on the "Online Portal of BCECE-2026" link, and then click on the "New Registration" button. Subsequently, instructions for filling out the application form will appear; candidates are advised to read and understand these instructions thoroughly.

Step-One (Registration):
To register for this examination, all requisite information must be accurately entered into the application form displayed on the computer screen under "Step One." While registering, candidates must ensure that they use only their own or their parent's email address and mobile number, as all information pertinent to the registration process will be transmitted to that specific email address and mobile number. To verify the mobile number and email address provided by the candidate, separate verification codes will be sent to each; the candidate must enter these codes during the registration process to complete the verification. Once the mobile number and email address have been verified and the registration is successfully completed, no changes to the registered mobile number or email address will be permitted under any circumstances throughout the entire academic session. Upon successful registration, the candidate will receive a notification confirming the completion of the process via their registered mobile number and email address; this notification will include their unique Registration Number. Subsequently, to complete the online application form, candidates must log in to their account by entering their Registration Number and the password established during the registration process, and then clicking the "Sign In" button to proceed with the remaining steps. Candidates are advised to keep the password created during registration strictly confidential; otherwise, the Board shall not be held liable for any issues or complications that may arise.

Step-Two (Multi-Step Application Form):

Apply for Course Group: After successfully registering and logging into their account, candidates may select one or more Course Groups by clicking the “Apply for Course Group” button/link displayed on the computer screen, and then click the “Save & Continue” button.

Personal Information: After selecting the Course Group, fully complete the required entries related to Personal Information on the computer screen, and click the "Save & Continue" button.

Contact Details: After filling in the Personal Information, candidates should enter the details regarding their permanent and correspondence addresses (Contact Details) on the computer screen as required, and then click on the "Save & Continue" button.

Educational Information: After filling in the Contact Details, candidates should enter their educational qualification-related information (Educational Information) on the computer screen as required, and then click the "Save & Continue" button.

Upload Photo & Signature: After filling in the educational details, candidates must scan a high-contrast, color passport-sized photograph and their signature (in either Hindi or English), in accordance with the instructions displayed on the computer screen, and upload them to the designated section. It is mandatory to use a photograph taken while holding a placard (clearly displaying the applicant's name and the date on which the photograph was taken). Additionally, candidates are required to upload a live photograph of themselves while filling out the application form.
After uploading your photograph, signature, and live photograph at the designated locations, click on the 'Save & Continue' button. Detailed information regarding the uploading of the photograph and signature (in Hindi/English), as well as capturing and uploading the live photograph, is available on the Application Portal.

Step-Three (Application Preview & Final Submit):
Candidates must thoroughly verify the information provided under Step-One and Step-Two. If, during the verification process, any information or entry within the filled form for any Step is found to be incorrect, the candidate should click the "Back to Edit" button to correct the information/entry, and then click the "Save & Continue" button to ensure that the updated details are successfully recorded.
If, after previewing the filled application form, all details are found to be correct, the candidate should provide their Declaration and click the "Final Submit & Proceed to Payment" button to complete the process of depositing the examination/counseling fee, as outlined in Step-Four. If a candidate performs a "Final Submit" of the fully filled data but fails to deposit the examination/counseling fee, their application form will be deemed incomplete and will be rejected.

Step-Four (Payment of Examination / Counselling Fee):
After reviewing the preview of all entries filled in by the candidate and submitting the form, click on the "Payment of Examination / Counselling Fee" button and complete the payment process by following the instructions for paying the examination fee displayed on the computer screen. The submitted examination / counselling fee is non-refundable.
The procedures for depositing the examination fee are as follows:

Online Payment: If candidates wish to pay the examination fee online—specifically via Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking—they must select the 'Online' option from the payment modes displayed on the computer screen and proceed with the transaction using their preferred method (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking). Any additional charges (processing fees) incurred during the submission of the examination fee shall be borne by the candidate.

The necessary details regarding the payment of the examination fee through the aforementioned methods are as follows:

Candidates belonging to the General / Economically Weaker Sections / Backward Classes / Extremely Backward Classes who wish to appear for the examination in one of the following subject groups—PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics), PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), or an Agriculture Group (specifically Chemistry, Biology & Agriculture Science [CBA]; Physics, Chemistry & Agriculture Science [PCA]; Mathematics, Biology & Agriculture Science [MBA]; or Mathematics, Chemistry & Agriculture Science [MCA])—are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 1,000/- (One Thousand Rupees). Conversely, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Differently-abled (DQ) categories are required to pay an examination fee of ₹500 (Five Hundred Rupees) for appearing in the examination in one subject group.

Candidates belonging to the General, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Backward Classes, or Extremely Backward Classes who wish to appear for the examination in all four subjects—namely, the PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) Subject Group—are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 1,100/- (One Thousand One Hundred Rupees). Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), or Differently-abled (DQ) categories are required to deposit an examination fee of ₹550 (Five Hundred Fifty Rupees) for the examination in the four-subject group, i.e., PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology).
Note:
i) If the amount paid as the Examination/Counselling Fee is debited from your account but the fee payment subsequently fails, you must re-pay the required fee. If you do not re-pay the Examination/Counselling Fee within the stipulated time, your application form will remain incomplete, and you will no longer be eligible for this Examination/Counselling.
The amount debited from your bank account for the failed transaction will be automatically refunded to your account.
ii) To resolve any difficulties or inconveniences related to the payment of the Examination/Counselling Fee, you may contact us via email at the address available on the Online Application Portal bangalorepgsd@billdesk.com or by calling the Helpdesk at 0612-2220230.

Step Five (Download Confirmation Page & Fee Receipt): After completing the payment within the date and time stipulated by the Board, candidates must download and print copies of the Confirmation Page and Fee Receipt for the application form they submitted, and keep them safe. This is because these documents contain all the details entered by you, as well as the Registration Number provided by the Board, which may be required for use during the counseling process or at a future date.
Note:
(a) There is no need to send the Confirmation Page of the downloaded application form to the Council Office. It will be mandatory to submit this form to the Council at the time of counseling; therefore, candidates are advised to keep this form safe.
(b) Upon the final submission of the Online Application Form—after completing all the aforementioned procedures—there is no provision for making any changes or modifications to the Application Form.
(c) Candidates are requested to kindly note that once the Application Form has been submitted, it cannot be withdrawn; furthermore, no requests for a refund or chargeback of the submitted examination fee will be entertained.
(d) The Board shall not be held responsible for any disruptions arising from internet, postal, or banking services. Therefore, candidates are advised not to wait until the last dates but to complete all necessary procedures well in advance.

If, after submitting the Online Application Form, a candidate discovers that an error occurred while entering information, or uploading a photograph or signature, they will be provided an opportunity to edit and rectify such errors between May 7, 2026, and May 8, 2026.

Corrections (Edits) to the Online Application Form may be made only by those candidates who have fully completed and submitted their Online Application Form, and have successfully deposited the examination fee, by the stipulated deadline.

To make corrections (edits) to their Online Application Form, candidates must visit the Application Home Page, click the 'Sign In' button, enter their Registration Number and Password, and log in to their account. Thereafter, they should make the necessary corrections and click the 'Save & Continue' button to ensure that their edited entries are updated. Finally, candidates should download and print the Confirmation Page of the edited application form and retain it safely for their records.

Incomplete online applications will be rejected.
Minimum Age Limit:
(i) For admission to Pharmacy courses, the applicant must have attained a minimum age of 17 years as of December 31st of the examination year.
(ii) For admission to Engineering courses, no age limit has been prescribed.
(iii) For the Medical stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as of December 31, 2026.
(iv) For admission to Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, the applicant must have attained a minimum age of 16 years as of August 31, 2026.
