Final Extension of Application Schedule for NIFTEE-2026 Stage 1 Examination

The National Testing Agency will conduct the NIFTEE 2026 Stage 1 examination on 08 February, 2026 (Sunday) in 102 cities across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) and Pen & Paper Based Test (PBT) modes.

The online registration process for NIFTEE–2026 is currently in progress, as per the Public Notice dated 08 December 2025.

This is to inform all aspiring candidates that NIFT has received a large number of representations and requests from students seeking additional time for submission of the online application form for NIFT Admissions–2026, citing various reasons.

In view of the above, NIFT has formally requested the NTA to extend the schedule for submission of the online application form for UG, PG, and NLEA programmes, so as to provide one final opportunity to eligible candidates to apply for the examination.

Accordingly, on the request of NIFT and in the interest of students, the schedule for Stage 1 Examination of NIFTEE–2026 has been extended as per the details given below:

Candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions available on the official website and ensure that all steps of the application process, including fee payment, are completed within the revised timelines.

It is reiterated that this is the final extension, and no further request for extension shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and NIFTEE (https://exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/) for the latest updates and to complete the application process well before the last date to avoid last-minute difficulties.
