Admission into the 2-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program in colleges across Telangana State 2025-26
A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana Education Common Entrance Test-2025 (TG Ed.CET-2025) will be conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education for admission in to B.Ed. (Two years) Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana State for the academic year 2025-2026.

A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana Education Common Entrance Test through Computer Based Test-2025 [(TG Ed.CET-2025(CBT)] will be conducted by the CONVENER, TG Ed.CET-2025, Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) for admission into B.Ed. Two years Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana for the academic year 2025-2026.
Candidate should have passed or appeared:

In any Bachelors Degree i.e. B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.Sc. (Home Science), BCA, BBM, B.A. (Oriental Languages), BBA or in the Masters Degree, securing at least 50% aggregate marks.

Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with 50% aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

However, candidates belonging to the reserved categories viz., SC/ST/BC and other reserved categories should have secured 40% marks in the qualifying examination.

Candidates should be required to produce marks memo and pass certificate at the time of Counseling for Admission.

Candidates possessing MBBS / B.Sc. (AG) / B.Sc. (Horticulture) / B.Sc. (Architecture) / B.V.Sc. / BHMT / B.Pharm. and such other professional and job oriented degree courses viz., LL.B. are not eligible for admission into B.Ed. course.
Candidates possessing a Master Degree without having undertaken Under Graduate study
are not eligible for admission.
The common entrance test will be of objective type (multiple choices) examination. Each question carries one mark and test is conducted for total 150 marks.
Candidate has to answer 150 questions in two hours of time.
