The University Law Entrance Test (ULET) 2026 is being conducted for admission to First Semester of the LL.B. Three-Year Programme (Semester Scheme) for the academic session 2026–27 at University Law College and University Law College Centre-II (SFS) of University of Rajasthan.

  • Admission to the LL.B. Three-Year Programme (Semester Scheme) will be offered for following seats:
    University Law College 300 + 30*
    University Law College Centre-II (SFS) 300 + 30*
    *10% over and above for EWS in accordance with BCI norms.
  • Reservation of seats shall be applicable as per the norms of University of Rajasthan, as detailed in the University Prospectus for the academic session 2026–27.

Note:
  • The above-mentioned schedule is purely tentative. If there will be any change in schedule, it shall be notified on the official website.
  • The candidates who are not claiming any weightage or concession, need not submit the hard copy of Application Form.
Eligibility, Age & Reservation
All the candidates who are applying for Admission to First Semester of LL.B. (Three Year Programme) are advised to ensure their eligibility before filling the application form, as provided in the University Prospectus 2026-27 available on University Website.

Eligibility to Apply for Admission to First Semester of LL.B. (Three Year Programme):
  • A candidate may apply for admission to LL.B. I Semester who has secured:
    • A minimum 45% marks in case of General/EWS/OBC/MBC category and minimum 40% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD Category in the aggregate of the qualifying examination (UG/PG).
    • A minimum 60% marks or above in the aggregate of the qualifying examination (UG/PG) in case of students coming from Universities other than those situated in the State of Rajasthan and without Certificate of Bonafide resident of Rajasthan state.
    As per provision of O.252, only such candidates who have passed the Bachelor's or Master's Degree examination with the required marks in aggregate shall be eligible for admission to the LL.B. First semester. No concession on any ground, whatsoever, is admissible in the said rule for minimum eligibility.

    Note: "Minimum marks" refers strictly to the actual marks obtained, excluding any concessional marks. No rounding off will be permitted. Even a shortfall of one mark below the prescribed minimum eligibility will result in disqualification of the candidature.
  • Qualifying Examination:
    A candidate who has taken the Bachelor's (UG) or the Master's Degree (PG) in Arts / Commerce / Science / Engineering /Medicine /Management (of 2 years duration) / Nursing / Agriculture or the Degree of Shastri / Acharya or the Degree of Ayurvedacharya / Ayurveda Brihaspati of this University or of any other University recognised for the purpose by the Syndicate with full course prescribed for the Degree.

    Note: From the Session 1994-95 only candidates who have obtained a Bachelor's Degree of 10+2+3 pattern or those who have passed a one-year pre-POST Graduate/Bridge Course Examination after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree of 10+1+3 or 10+2+2 pattern shall be considered eligible for admission.

    Provided that it would not apply in the case of such candidates who have passed their graduation examination prior to the academic session of 1991-92 and they will also have the option to clear the Pre P.G./ Bridge Course for seeking admission or appearing in the examination for a higher course in the University of elsewhere. (Academic Council Res. No. 3 dated 18/19 April 94 & Syndicate Res. No. 9 dt, 18.7.94).

    Explanation: Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in the final year/semester of their qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for admission to the LL.B. (Three-Year Programme). However, their candidature will remain provisional, subject to:
    • Fulfilling the prescribed eligibility requirements, and
    • Submitting the final mark sheet of the qualifying examination before the counselling for ULET 2026.
    Failure to submit the required mark sheet within the stipulated period will render the candidature ineligible.
  • Age: As per the Bar Council of India norms.
  • Concession: As per University Norms provided in University Prospectus 2026-27.
  • Reservation: As per University Norms provided in University Prospectus 2026-27.
Step wise Procedure for filling the Application Form
Step I - Application Process
  • The candidates are required to fill out the application form for admission to the LL.B. First Semester (Three-Year Programme) through the official portal of ULET 2026: admissions.univraj.org/uletPanel
  • A candidate may apply either on the basis of UG or PG marks, as per eligibility.
  • The registration process will be open from 1st May, 2026 to 31st May, 2026.
  • Applicants must ensure that their ABC ID is generated in advance, as submission of the application form will not be possible without it. Use this link to generate the ABC ID: www.abc.gov.in
  • The candidate will be required to fill the personal details, category details, concession/weightage details (if applicable) and address as required in the form. After completion of this process, the candidate will be required to upload the relevant document(s) / certificate (s) (only JPG/JPEG files of maximum 450 kb allowed).
Step II - Document Upload Requirements
  • During registration, candidates must upload clear and legible scanned copies of the following documents (where applicable), in accordance with the Prospectus of University of Rajasthan for the academic session 2026–27:
    • Recent passport-size photograph and signature
    • Mark sheets of Class X and Class XII
    • Marksheets of U.G./P.G. (Original or online copies)
    • Category certificate
    • Domicile Certificate for State of Rajasthan
    • Differently-abled (PwD) certificate
    • Relevant weightage certificates (if applicable) as per university prospectus such as: National Jamboree, National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC), Sports, Army personnel and their wards, Scouts/Guides/Rover Scouts/Ranger Guides, Mountaineering, Defence personnel, Wards of Kashmiri migrants, Wards of Shaheed (Military and Paramilitary Forces), etc.
  • All the documents must be uploaded in the prescribed format and should be clearly readable:
    • Photo Requirement:
      • Upload Passport size photograph taken on or after 1st January, 2026.
      • Don't wear a cap or goggles while getting the photograph clicked. Candidates who wear spectacles regularly can put them on.
      • Computer and Polaroid generated photographs will not be accepted.
      • Image Size: Upto 450KB
      • Acceptable file formats: JPG/JPEG
      Note:
      • If the uploaded photograph does not meet the prescribed specifications, the application form will be automatically rejected.
      • Submission of a manipulated or digitally altered photograph will lead to rejection of the application and will be treated as the use of unfair means.
      • Candidates must carry an additional passport-size photograph (clearly mentioning the candidate's name and the date on which the photograph was taken) to the examination centre. This photograph will be affixed to the attendance sheet.
    • Signature Requirement
      • Upload your Signature done by Black Marker Pen on white background.
      • Image size: Upto 350 KB
      • Acceptable file formats - JPG/JPEG
    • Thumb Impression Requirement
      • Upload your thumb impression done with blue ink on white background:
        - Left hand thumb impression for Male.
        - Right hand thumb impression for Female/Transgender.
      • Image size: Upto 350 KB
      • Acceptable file formats - JPG/JPEG
    • Documents Required (Scanned Copies to be uploaded)
      • Upload scanned copies of original/online marksheets of Class X, XII and final year's marksheets of U.G. and P.G. (if applicable).
      • Upload latest caste certificate, if applicable. The certificate should not have been issued earlier than 01/06/2025 in case of OBC/MBC In case of EWS candidate(s), the certificate should be issued on or after 01/04/2026.
      • Upload differently abled (PwD) Certificate, if applicable.
      • Upload the Weightage Certificate, if applicable.
      Note on Submission of documents for Weightage Claim:
      • Candidates claiming weightage must submit a hard copy of ULET 2026 application form, and the original certificate in support of their weightage claim, along with a self-attested photocopy of the same, to the office of the Coordinator, ULET-2026, Department of Law, University of Rajasthan.
      • The submission must be made from 1st June, 2026 to 4th June, 2026, during the office hours (09:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m.).
      • Under no circumstances will the hard copy of the application form or supporting documents for weightage, concession, or disability be accepted online or after the prescribed deadline.
Step III – Fee payment
  • After completion of Step II, the candidate is required to pay the requisite application fee i.e. Rs. 1,400/- for Gen/EWS/OBC/MBC and Rs. 1,200/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
  • Before proceeding for the payment, thoroughly check all details in the Preview Step.
  • The fee is payable online through ICICI Bank payment gateway only. No other mode of payment for fee shall be accepted.
  • Application process will be regarded as complete only when the payment has been received by the University.
Step IV – Hard Copy of the Application Form
  • Upon successful payment of the application fee, an online payment invoice will be generated.
  • Applicants are not required to submit a hard copy of the online application form to the office. However, they are advised to retain a printed copy of the invoice and the completed application form for their records and for use during the counselling process for admission.
Information regarding the ENTRANCE TEST
  • Admission to the LL.B. First Semester (Three Year Programme) shall be done through counselling based on the final score/merit secured in the ULET-2026 entrance test. Final score will be available after declaration of result as per schedule and shall consist of marks scored in entrance test and weightage mark (s), if applicable.
  • The Entrance Test is tentatively scheduled to be held on 21st June, 2026 (Sunday) from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at different centres in Jaipur only. The duration of the test shall be Two Hours.
  • The entrance test shall have 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying one (1) mark each. There will be no negative marking.
  • The language of the question paper of the entrance examination will be English and Hindi. In case of any discrepancy in the English and Hindi Version of the Question Paper, the English Version shall be treated as valid.
  • The Candidate shall use only Blue/Black Ball point pen during the entrance examination for answer the questions and filling information in the OMR sheet.
  • After completion of entrance test, the candidates can carry Question Booklet along with carbon copy of OMR Sheet with them.
  • The Centre for the Entrance Test (ULET-2026) and Roll number will be given on admit card which will be made available on the university website as per the schedule.
  • No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall without the admit card and a valid photo ID card.
  • The candidates will not be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall after 10:00 A.M. on the day of the examination.
  • Carrying Mobile/Smart Phone(s), Bluetooth device(s), Smart Watch etc. in the examination hall is strictly prohibited. If any objectionable material is found, then action will be taken as per University Rules and State Government law/rules.
  • Totally blind candidates must arrange a scribe on their own and should carry attested copies of the certificate issued in accordance with Section 17 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016. Moreover, attested copies of Marks Sheet/Certificate and Photo Identity of the scribe should be submitted to the Centre Superintendent of the Entrance Test Centre at least one day prior to the entrance test. Scribe should not be in higher class than 10th standard (As per University norms).
  • There shall be a provision for videography of the centre on the date of examination.
