Admission to Post Graduate Diploma Course on Tea Production Technology and Smart Management, Session 2026-2027

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the Post Graduate Diploma Course on 'Tea Production Technology & Smart Management' for the Academic Session 2026-27.

Intake Capacity	25
Duration of the Diploma Course	1 (one) year, April 2026-March, 2027.
Eligibility for admission	Graduate in any discipline. Preference will be given to science graduates and with other relevant qualifications. Maximum age 26 years.
Reservation of seats	As per the specified norms of Assam Agricultural University.
Objective of the programme	Capacity building of graduate for employment in tea industry.
Implementing department	Department of Tea Husbandry & Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam.
Method of selection	Selection of candidates for admission will be on merit and personal interview.
Accommodation	The university will not provide accommodation facilities for the students who are admitted into the Post Graduate Diploma Course on Tea Production Technology & Smart Management. The students must make their own arrangements for accommodation.
Evaluation	Evaluation of a student will be based on his/her performance in half yearly examination, final examination, presentation, home assignments, field visits, garden training and project work to be carried out by him/her during study.
Award of Certification	On successful completion of the courses, student will be awarded a Certificate from the University.
Course Fee	Rs. 50,000.00/-

Login into the registered account and online payment of Rs. 100.00/- as application fee.
Filling up the application form, and subsequent submission.

Note: The Application form will be activated only upon successful payment of the application fees.

Photograph: Size between 20 kb to 50 kb.
Scanned signature: Size between 10 kb to 20 kb.

Please keep scanned copies of the following documents, ready for uploading along with the application form:

Caste Certificate (except General Caste)
Age Proof (Birth Certificate / Xth Admit card)
Xth Marksheet and Pass certificate
XIIth Mark sheet and Pass certificate
Graduation Mark sheet and Pass certificate
Permanent Residence Certificate
Medical Certificate

On successful completion of the online application, Applicant must download the Acknowledgement Sheet, and must produce a printout of the same at the time of admission.
