This is with reference to your application for admission to One Year LL.M. for the Session 2026-27 in the Centre of Post Graduate Legal Studies. Admission to One Year LL.M. Programme will be made on the basis of final score i.e. 30% marks on SoP, Work Experience, Publications & 70% marks of Entrance Test as per UGC Guidelines for One Year LL.M. programme.
• Eligibility for Admission: Law Graduate Degree (3year or 5 year LL.B. Degree with 50% Marks, 45% for SC/ST/PWD)
• 50% seats of total intake are reserved for SC/ST category applicants, 10% for EWS and 5% for PWDs. Reservation is applicable as per existing rules and norms of BBAU. As per BBAU Admission Policy 2026-27 seats under SC/ST category shall be interchangeable if candidate(s) under a given category is/are not available.
• The Interse Merit of the candidates who obtained same marks will be determined on the basis of qualifying degree.
• The candidates are also advised to check University website (www.bbau.ac.in) for admission related information.
• The candidates are required to send following documents on admissioncpgls@gmail.com on or before 22 July by 6:00 p.m., for the calculation of 30% marks.
• Components of 30% shall comprise of as follows:
A-In the category work of experience (internship)
The maximum marks shall be 10 only.
1. Internship with National Commission's 5 Marks
2. Internship with State Commission's
B-In the category of publication (per publication)
The maximum marks shall be 10 only.
1. International journal/ International E- journal 8 Marks (Scopus indexed)
2. National journal/ National E- journal 5 Marks with (Peer Reviewed /UGC Care list)
3. Publication in Books/ Chapters 4 Marks with (ISBN number)

C-Statement of purpose.
The maximum marks shall be 10 only.
Applicants are required to submit typewritten (Times New Roman font, size 12, maximum words 500 only) statement of purpose. Hand written SoPs will not be accepted.
