BLIS Admission 2026-27 Offline Application Started

Admission Process for Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) Course, Session 2026–27

Admission for 500 seats (250 + 250 = 500) in two shifts is being initiated through offline mode. Application forms can be obtained and submitted from the Institute of Library and Information Science from 25.05.2026 to 13.06.2026 during office hours (10:30 AM to 4:30 PM).

Application form fee: Rs.1000/- (One thousand rupees)

Admission of First Merit List	22.06.2026 to 04.07.2026
Admission of Second Merit List (if seats vacant)	06.07.2026 to 14.07.2026
Admission of Third Merit List (if seats vacant)	16.07.2026 to 18.07.2026
Spot Round (if seats vacant)	20.07.2026 to 22.07.2026

Documents to be self-attested and attached with the application form:

Photocopy of the bachelor's degree marksheet.
Photocopy of the admit card of the third year of graduation.
Photocopy of the relevant certificate for reservation category (if applicable).
Recent passport-size colour photograph.

Compliance points at the time of admission:

Admission fee: Rs.26,000/- (Twenty-six thousand rupees) lump sum payable.
All selected students must submit their original CLC / DLC (Character Certificate / Conduct Certificate).
Students from other universities must submit their original Migration Certificate.
It is mandatory to bring the original bachelor's degree marksheet and a valid identity card (Aadhaar Card).
Students belonging to reserved categories must bring their original caste certificate.
Students availing the benefit of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) must bring an updated certificate.
Admission will be granted only after verification. If any false information is found in the application form during verification, the candidature of such student shall be cancelled.
If selected students fail to take admission within the stipulated time, their claim shall automatically stand cancelled.

Note: Minimum educational qualification: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university with 45% aggregate marks.
