CGPA to Percentage Conversion Formula & Notification

In pursuance of the provisions contained in Letter No. Estb.-40/2017-1457 (GS)1, dated 29.05.2018, issued by the Governor’s Secretariat, Raj Bhawan, Patna, regarding the Ordinance and Regulations for the Two-Year Four-Semester Post Graduate Degree Courses, namely M.A., M.Sc. and M.Com., in the Faculties of Humanities, Social Sciences, Science and Commerce under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), effective from the academic session 2018–19, it is hereby notified that the conversion of CGPA into percentage of marks shall be made as under:



Percentage of Marks = CGPA × 10

This notification shall be applicable for the purpose of conversion of CGPA into percentage of marks in accordance with the aforesaid Ordinance and Regulations.
