Admission to B.Voc. in Electronics (Round II), Academic Year 2026–27

Applications are invited for Round II admissions to the Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) in Electronics under the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) offered at the School of Physical and Applied Sciences (SPAS), Goa University, for the Academic Year 2026–27.

Interested candidates are informed to submit their applications through the online admission portal and visit the Goa University website for detailed information.

Eligibility:
The minimum qualification required is as follows:

• HSSC or equivalent.
• Completed 2nd year of a 3-year Diploma (after SSC).
• Pursuing 2nd year of a 3-year regular Diploma (after SSC).
• SSC pass with two years of any combination of NTC/NAC/CITS or equivalent.
• 8th Pass + 2-year NTC + 1-year NAC + 1-year CITS.
• SSC pass and pursuing continuous schooling (for a 2-year programme).
• 11th Grade Pass and pursuing continuous schooling.
• 11th Grade Pass with one year of experience.
• 10th Grade Pass with two years of experience.
• Previous relevant qualification of NSQF Level 3.5 with 1.5 years' experience.
• Previous relevant qualification of NSQF Level 3.0 with three years' experience.

The eligibility for admission shall be governed by Ordinance OA-23A.4.

Selection Criteria:
The admissions are purely based on merit list prepared on the basis of an aggregate of 40% of marks at the qualifying exam and 60% of an aptitude test / interview.

The admissions are purely based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks scored at the HSSC or Equivalent.

The Goa University shall conduct Entrance Test if large number of applications are received.

Candidates need to fill the application form with all required details and upload required documents online on Goa University admission Samarth Portal.

• Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not wait till the last date for applying/payment of application fee to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability/ failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on the website.
• Goa University does not assume any responsibility to candidates in case they are unable to submit their application by the last date on account of the aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the Goa University.
• The softcopy of the Passport size photograph and Signature provided by the candidate has to be according to the specification mentioned below:
  • Digital Photo and Signature are required in .jpg or .jpeg image format.
  • File size of digital photo must be within 10kb to 500 KB limit.
  • The face must take up 70- 80 % of the photo.
  • The same photograph and signature shall be used for issuance of the University ID card and Examination Registration Process.
  • Candidates shall not upload Selfies or photos of passport size photograph.
  • The student should mandatorily have the following documents in the specified format to complete the online application.
    (Note: The documents to be uploaded should be in PDF / JPEG / JPG / format with a file size of 10KB-500KB)
    • SSC Marksheet, HSSC Marksheet (PDF format)
    • Income Certificate, Sports Certificate, Cultural Activity Quota Certificate (PDF/JPEG/JPG)
    • Recent Passport Size Colored Photograph (JPEG / JPG)
    • Reservation category certificate - SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD. (PDF format)
    • Declaration of Only Girl Child. (PDF/JPEG/JPG) on plain A4-size paper only.
• Printout of the application form is NOT REQUIRED to be sent to the University.
• No changes shall be entertained after the application is submitted online.

Application Fees:

• Rs. 750/- (INR Seven hundred only) for UR, OBC(NCL), EWS Category candidates.
• Rs. 375/- (INR Three Hundred & Fifty only) for SC/ST Category candidates of Goa*.
• Differently abled candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fees.
• Incomplete applications will not be considered for selection.
• Application Fees are Non-refundable.

*Candidates applying for admission under [SC/ST/OBC(NCL)] categories shall be required to submit a valid Certificate to that effect issued by the Officer of the rank of the Deputy Collector or any other authorized Officer as notified by the Government of Goa.
