As per directives, admission to the remaining seats in the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) course, session 2026–27, at the Institute of Library and Information Science (Self‑Financed), Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, will be conducted on a "first come, first served" basis starting from 24.07.2026.

Therefore, interested candidates may visit the institute and apply to get admitted against the remaining vacant seats on a "first come, first served" basis.

It is mandatory to bring the following documents at the time of admission:

• Application form fee: RS.1000 (one thousand)
• Admission fee: RS.26,000/- (twenty-six thousand) rupees, payable as a one-time lump sum.
• At the time of admission, you must submit your original CLC / DLC (Character Certificate / Conduct Certificate).
• Students coming from other universities must submit their original Migration Certificate.
• It is mandatory to bring the original graduation marksheet and a valid identity card (Aadhaar Card).
• Students belonging to reserved categories must bring their original caste certificate.
• Admission will be granted only after verification. If any false information is found in the application form during verification, the candidature of such student shall be cancelled.
• 04 passport-size photographs.

Note: Candidates who had applied earlier for admission but did not take admission within the stipulated time, if they are still interested in admission, they shall obtain a fresh application form and then take admission.
