As per directives, the Spot Round Admission for filling the remaining vacant seats in the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) course, session 2026–27, at the Institute of Library and Information Science (Self‑Financed), Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, will be held from 20.07.2026 to 22.07.2026. Therefore, an opportunity for admission is being provided once again to all the remaining applicants who had applied.

Hence, candidates may visit the institute and get themselves admitted against the remaining vacant seats on a "first come, first served" basis.

The following points must be complied with at the time of admission:

1. Admission fee of Rs.26,000/- (Twenty-six thousand rupees) shall be payable as a one-time lump sum.
2. All selected students must submit their original CLC / DLC (Character Certificate / Conduct Certificate).
3. Students coming from other universities must submit their original Migration Certificate.
4. It is mandatory to bring the original graduation marksheet and a valid identity card (Aadhaar Card).
5. Students belonging to reserved categories must bring their original caste certificate.
6. Students availing the benefit of the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) must bring an updated certificate.
7. Admission will be granted only after verification. If any false information is found in the application form during verification, the candidature of such student shall be cancelled.
