MIT-WPU offers an interdisciplinary programme in biological, physical, and engineering sciences — the B.Tech. in Bioengineering — which provides a broad scope of learning. The programme focuses on developing and teaching computer-based solutions to practical problems in areas such as laboratory instrumentation, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, biomechanics, nanotechnology, and bioenergy. Through project-based learning, you will explore key topics like cell and molecular biology and bioreaction engineering.

Duration: 4 Year (Applications Open for 2025)
Fee Per Year: Rs. 3,30,000/-

Eligibility

The candidates should have appeared in JEE 2025 / MHT-CET 2025 / PERA 2025 / MHT-CET-B* 2025 / NEET* 2025. [*Applicable only for B.Tech. Bioengineering programme] conducted by the Competent Authority.
AND
Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM or PCB* or Physics & Mathematics with any Technical Vocational Subject. Physics, Mathematics/Biology* & English are Compulsory subjects with Chemistry/Biotechnology* or Technical Vocational Courses in 10+2/Class 12th or equivalent examination [*Applicable only for B.Tech. Bioengineering programme] (at least 45% marks, in case of Reserved category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only).
OR
Minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering & Technology in an appropriate branch from Government approved technical board.

Selection Process

The selection process for B.Tech. programmes is based on JEE 2025 / MHT-CET 2025 / PERA 2025 / MHT-CET-B* 2025 / NEET* 2025 score and a Statement of Purpose (500 words) written by the candidate.

Terms & Conditions Apply:

All Scholarships are awarded on a First Come First Serve basis. All Scholarships are awarded as fee adjustments.
To continue the scholarship for the entire duration of the programme, a minimum level of the academic score has to be maintained at an 8 CGPA across all semesters, attendance is to be maintained at a minimum of 80 percent, with no live backlogs in any subject/programme and no semester break, and there should be no disciplinary action against the student.

Step 03: Fill Application Form (Pay application form Fees - Rs. 1,800/-)
Step 04: Receive entrance test link for MIT-WPU CET (Date will reflect on Student Dashboard / Website)
Step 05: Appear for entrance test
Step 06: Check Merit List (Dates/Results notified on Dashboard)
Step 07: Receive Provisional Offer Letter upon successful selection Number
Step 08: Complete fee payment (1st Instalment)
Step 09: Verification (Payment/Personal/Education/Documents)
Step 10: Receive Final Offer Letter and Offer Guide with student PRN number
Step 11: Submit original documents

Guidelines

Personal Profile - The name of the candidate and his/her parents must be the same as mentioned on their class 10th certificate. (No prefix should be used)
Contact details should be accurate.
Academic Profile* - Marks obtained in qualifying examination & last attended school.
The marks of the qualifying national entrance tests / Maharashtra CET/ MIT-WPU CET along with documents should be uploaded within 15 days of the results being announced.
Candidates who fail to do so will not be considered for the admissions.
Upload Documents -Candidates must upload scanned copies of the required documents in the MIT-WPU admission portal.
Payment of application fees - Rs 1800/-through online mode only. (Net banking/Card/G-pay)
