Indian Candidates:

UG Programmes: The candidate must have passed the 10th (SSC), 12th (HSC) from state boards/CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE(ICE), IB-Diploma & any other recognised board by the competent authority. All International Baccalaureate (IB) students are required to have a minimum 24 credit points with awarded IB-Diploma. An equivalence/conversion certificate is required from the respective board/AIU in case the result is in grade/credit points.

PG Programmes: The candidate must have a Batchelor's Degree or its equivalent Degree from any recognized University approved by the UGC/ AIU.

Maharashtra state (MS) Candidates:
A Candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra.

Other than Maharashtra state (OMS) Candidates:
A candidate whose Domicile Status is outside Maharashtra and has passed his qualifying examination from Board/University outside Maharashtra will be considered as OMS candidate.
AND/OR
A candidate whose Domicile Status is outside Maharashtra state but passing 10th (SSC)/12th (HSC)/Diploma or Graduation, Post-Graduation or its equivalent examination from a recognized school in the State of Maharashtra, will be considered as OMS candidate.
International Candidates:

Under-Graduate (UG) Programmes: The candidate must have passed the Std. 10+2 or its equivalent examinations from the recognized institution approved by the Government.

Post-Graduate (PG) Programmes: The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent Degree from any recognized University approved by Government (AIU).
MIT-WPU follows UGC-specified eligibility norms while reviewing international student' admission applications. To take admission for any programme at MIT-WPU under international category, the admission categories of international candidates are as mentioned below:

Foreign Nationals Students: A student is eligible to apply as a Foreign National (FN) if he/she is a citizen of any country other than India and holds a foreign passport (FN - SAARC countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and FN-Non-SAARC Countries).

CIWGC/CIWSEA Students: Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries & Southeast Asian countries, (the candidates whose parents are working at Gulf countries or Southeast Asian countries) only are eligible under this category.

OCI Students: A student is eligible to apply as OCI if he/she has been granted Overseas Citizenship of India and has an OCI card.

NRI: A student is eligible for NRI Category if he/she is a Non-Resident Indian (Other than Gulf & Southeast Asia Countries).

Additional Documents required for International/NRI/Foreign candidates:
- Student & Parent Passport Copy (Passport copy submission is mandatory).
- Original Employer Certificate (If applicable).
- Original Sponsorship Letter (If applicable).
- NRI certificate (Applicable for NRI category students).

The eligibility criteria defined and declared by the appropriate authority, university from time to time will apply to all applicants.

Applicants must carefully review the eligibility criteria for their chosen programme(s) before completing the application form. The University reserves the right to disqualify any candidate at any stage of the admissions process if they are found ineligible or have provided false or incorrect information. In such cases, the candidate's provisional admission will be cancelled.
