Admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Programme, 2026-27
Applications in the prescribed form are invited for admission into the B.A. LL.B (Hons.) Programme of the North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong Campus for the session 2026-27.
The Eligibility Criteria for admission is as follows:
B.A. LL.B (Hons.): Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate for General Category and 45% in the aggregate for SC/ST category from a recognized University/Board are eligible for applying into this course. No student shall be allowed to simultaneously register for the course with any other graduate post graduate/certificate course(s) run by the university or any other university/institute for academic or professional learning provided that any short-term/part time certificate course on language, Computer Science or Computer Application of an institute or any course run by a Centre for Distance Learning or a university, however, shall be exempted. Candidates desiring to apply to the B.A. LL.B (Hons.) Programme are required to fill up the NEHU application form mentioning their respective CUET (UG) Score.
How to Apply:
Students applying to the B.A. LL.B (Hons.) Programme are requested to apply online on payment of Rs. 800/- and Rs. 400/- (for SC/ST category) and the payment will be made online using UPI/Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. The admission fee is not refundable.
Candidates are advised to apply through the CUET application form based on the CUET score obtained in English and General Aptitude Test by visiting the following link: https://nehucuet.samarth.edu.in
Candidates are requested to complete the process of filling the application form before the last date. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained. The candidates are strongly advised to go through the FAQs before filling up the application form.
