Provisional List for Admission into B.Tech. (Vertical Entry) Program for the Session 2026-27

As per the available seats in B.Tech Program for four branches (Energy Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Information Technology), the following candidates are notified to appear in person for counselling, ORIGINAL documents verification and provisional admission as per the provisional merit and waiting list appended below:

Candidates are asked to bring the following documents (Original and Photo-copies) for verification and counselling:

A copy of the B.Tech Application Form submitted online.
Document in support of the state of domicile/PRC (State of Meghalaya) if applicable.
12th Marksheet.
SC/ST Certificate, if applicable.
EWS certificate (Certificate issued by Deputy Commissioner (DC), or any other competent authority as per norms), if applicable.
Certificate for a person with disability (PwD category) issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
Proof of date of birth certificate (HSLC admit card/ birth certificate).
JEE (Main) Scorecard (2026).
NEHU Ward Certificate from the Registrar, NEHU, Shillong, if applicable.
Candidates belonging to educationally backward areas shall produce a literacy certificate issued by Block Development Officer (BDO) and Local Headman, if applicable.
Any other relevant certificates in case applied under the supernumerary seat, if applicable.
04 copies of recent passport photographs.

Any discrepancy found in documents submitted/claimed in the Application form during counselling or after admission will result in disqualification of the candidature, and He/She will not be allowed to continue to carry out the admission/continue to study B.Tech. program. After successful completion of the document verification a candidate will have to make payment (through online transaction by UPI or Net Banking, Rs 32,500/- approx.) immediately after counselling. The candidates are advised to come prepared accordingly. Failing to complete the payment will result in the cancellation of the claim for the seat for admission.
