Admission notification for Entrance Examination of M.Sc. in Forensic Science for Academic Year 2026-2027

In continuation of the Admission Notice dated 04.02.2026 for admission to the Two-Year M.Sc. in Forensic Science for the Academic Year 2026-2027, it is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the admission portal for submission of online applications has been extended up to 30/07/2026.

All interested candidates who wish to apply for admission are required to submit their online application form along with the prescribed registration fee through the University admission portal: https://nujsadm.samarth.edu.in

The Entrance Examination will be held on 09/08/2026 at the WBNUJS Campus, Kolkata.
The Orientation Programme and commencement of classes are scheduled from 17/08/2026.

Eligibiliy for M.Sc. Forensic Science:
B.Sc. / B.Sc. Hons. with Forensic Science / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Computer Science / Physics / Anthropology / B.Sc. LL.B. or any equivalent degree (Biology, Engineering etc) with a minimum of 50% marks.

Admission Process

STEP 1 Submit Online Application through Samarth Portal:
Fill out and submit the application form exclusively through the university's Samarth portal including the application fee payment at the last step of the form: https://nujsadm.samarth.edu.in
- Register as 'New Registration'
- Log in with your registered Log in ID and Password and fill the form
- Before final submission, the form automatically redirects to payment portal when you click SUBMIT
- The option to print the filled in form will appear as you complete the payment and submit
STEP 2 Email Documentation:
Scanned copies of the application form and payment receipt (if any) as submitted on the Samarth Portal should be sent to admission@nujs.edu.
STEP 3 Entrance Examination:
Appear for the Entrance Examination Scheduled for August 09, 2026.

Exam Pattern:
A) Written Test (50 Multiple Choice Questions): 50 Marks
B) Personal Interview: 50 Marks
STEP 4 Merit List and Final Admission:
The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of the entrance examination and the personal interview.
