The Central University of Kashmir invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission to the following Postgraduate (PG) Programmes for the academic session 2026-2027 against the vacant seats.

Admission Criteria:

The preference in the admissions shall be given to CUET (PG) candidates followed by other categories in the order of preference given below:

1. Candidates who have appeared in CUET (PG)-2026 in the prescribed subject domain relevant to the programme.
2. Candidates who have appeared in CUET (PG)-2026 in any other subject domain but fulfilling the basic eligibility criteria for the concerned programme.
3. Candidates who have appeared in any other National-Level Test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) during the year 2026, provided they fulfil the prescribed basic eligibility criteria for the concerned programme.
4. Candidates who have appeared in CUET (PG)-2025, either in the relevant subject domain or any other subject domain but fulfilling the prescribed basic eligibility criteria for the concerned programme.
5. Non-CUET candidates fulfilling the prescribed basic eligibility criteria in the concerned programme. However, such candidates shall be considered only after exhausting the vacancies after completion of Phase-II admission criterion (above1-4) and subject to the availability of vacant seats in the concerned programme.
6. In case of Non-CUET candidates, the concerned department shall offer admissions based on a Screening Test to be conducted by the respective department on the day of Central Counselling (On-the-Spot Admissions) scheduled on 30th July, 2026 at Central University of Kashmir, Green Campus IQAC Hall, Dudherhama, Ganderbal, at 11 am.
7. The candidates selected under Non-CUET category shall not be entitled for any scholarship offered by the University.
8. The candidates who were selected in Phase-I of admission process but could not complete their admission formalities need not to apply again; however, such candidates may reach out to the concerned Department Academic Coordinator to explore the possibility of admission.

Note: All admissions shall be provisional, subject to the fulfilment of required eligibility criteria by the selected candidates. The University reserves the right to Start/Stop any programme subjected to a minimum of 10 students enrolling in the programme. If the number of students enrolled is less than 10 for a particular programme, the students may be adjusted in any other programme subjected to their eligibility for that programme.
