2nd Selection Lists

Publication of 2nd Provisional Selection Lists and Waiting Lists for the purpose of provisional admission in 2 year MSc in Biotechnology, Virology and Immunology

It is hereby notified that the 2nd Provisional Selection Lists and Waiting Lists for admission to the 2 year Master of Science courses for the academic session 2026–2027 have been published herewith.

Admission Procedure:

The provisionally selected candidates are required to complete following steps to complete the online admission (provisional) process.

1. The candidates will pay the requisite fees through SBI Collect portal (https://onlinesbi.sbi.bank.in/sbicollect/ ). Search Presidency University and select Payment Category as MA/MSc Admission. Details for accessing Payment details are given in the selection list (PU Admission Reference and Application ID).

2. They will Login into the Admission Portal (http://14.139.217.88/pms/) using their login credential which was used for applying. After login into the Application cum Admission Portal selected candidates will see a link “Online Admission Portal”.
3. They will furnish necessary information and will upload scanned images (in jpeg format, .jpg file) of the following items in the admission portal
   1. Passport size recent photograph
   2. Signature
4. Finally they will complete the process and their provisional admission acknowledgement will be generated.
5. The applicants are required to visit the admission portal time to time to check their admission (provisional) status after payment verification. The “Reporting Slip” will be generated within 2-3 working days after last date of admission.

Important Dates:

1. Availability of Payment portal: From 14th August, 2026 to 18th August, 2026.
2. Availability of Admission Portal: From 14th August, 2026 to 18th August, 2026.
3. Publication of Next Provisional Selection List (tentative): Will be announced on 20th August, 2026.

Reporting at the department/School/Institute: 20th August, 2026 at 11 am

Note that Biotechnology , Virology and Immunology courses are offered at 2nd campus of Presidency University, Kolkata (New Town)

The selected candidates are required to take admission within due date and they are required to submit following documents in original with one set of photocopies at the Department on the first day:

1. Application form
2. Online generated Reporting Slip,
3. All academic Mark-Sheets and Certificates,
4. Caste Certificate (if applicable),
5. PWD certificate (if applicable),
6. EWS Certificate (if applicable),
7. Blood Group Certificate issued by registered diagnostic centre,
8. Address Proof,
9. Govt-issued Photo ID (AADHAR),
10. Three affidavits in original (Text will be available in the University Website )
    1. DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT AGAINST RACISM
    2. DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT
    3. DECLARATION BY PARENT/GUARDIAN AGAINST SEXUAL HARASSMENT
11. Copy/reference of the anti-ragging declaration after submission of form at
    https://antiragging.in/affidavit_registration_disclaimer.html
12. Income Certificate of Parents: The income certificate issued by BDO, SDO or any Group A Government officer or Income Certificate/ Pay slip from the Employer or latest ITR.

Candidates, selected under OBC category, are required to establish their claim against extant Govt order in this regard.
