Physical Counselling for filling up vacant seats (UG) (Mop-up Round)

This is to notify that a physical counselling will be conducted by Presidency University (PU) for the purpose of the filling of the vacant seats in connection with UG Admission, 2026. This counseling is intended for all the rank holders who satisfy the Minimum Aggregate Score (as laid down in the Information Brochure (UG Admission 2026)).

Candidates who can participate:

• Candidates who secured admission into PU and wish to change their Major subject, provided the candidate has a valid GMR in the desired subject.
• All those candidates having valid GMR and who also satisfy the Minimum Aggregate Score (as laid down in the Information Brochure (UG Admission 2026)) but could not secure admission are also eligible to apply for the above-mentioned counselling.

During the online reporting process the applicants (who are not admitted into PU presently) will be allowed to apply for a maximum two subjects. However, candidates who are already admitted in PU will retain their present admission and will be allowed to opt for one subject only.

In order to participate in the above-mentioned counselling procedure, interested candidates are requested to report online between 23rd July, 2026 and 26th July, 2026 (till 10 PM). Candidates who report in this round of counselling, will only be considered for subject change / admission into PU, strictly based on GMR after eligibility & / or document verification. Adherence to the schedule published below is mandatory.

If any candidate fails to report, his/her application will not be considered in the Admission Process further. Candidature will be cancelled if any candidate fails to satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Online reporting link and procedure:

The interested candidates are required to do the following steps to complete the online reporting process.

• Click “Online Reporting” link
• Login into the Admission Portal with your Aadhar Number/ login ID as used in the Application Portal during form fill-up
• Enter/Verify necessary Information
• Choose your subjects and click “Add Choice” button.
• Finally press “Complete” Button

The participation in online reporting process does not confirm the selection and admission in the course. However, such candidates will be considered for preparation of provisional merit list for admission.

If any discrepancy is found during verification regarding the Academic Score (determining the rank) or identity of the applicant, the candidature of the applicant shall be cancelled and there shall be no exception in this regard.

Important Notes:

• Carry Application form, all academic documents, category certificates on the day of counselling for verification.
• Adherence to the time schedule is mandatory and not relaxable.
• Wrong data may lead to cancellation of Application at any stage and no fee will be refunded in such case.
