Admission to Two-Year Full-Time Management Programme Master of Business Administration (MBA), 2026-27
Admission Notice (Round 3)

Applications are invited for admission to the MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) Two-Year Full-Time Management Programme at University Business School, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana.

Desirous candidates are required to down load the application form from our website http://ubsl.puchd.ac.in . The duly filled application form along with the requisite documents can be submitted in the office of the Director, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana by 29th June, 2026. Admission to the MBA Programme at UBS, Ludhiana, is based on CAT 2025 or MAT 2025-2026 scores. Candidates who have not appeared in CAT-2025 or MAT 2025-2026 need to qualify a Special Entrance Test to be conducted by the department on 30th June, 2026. Group Discussion and Personal Interviews (GD & PI) for all the candidates will also be conducted on the same day at the University Business School, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana, Punjab. The admission counselling will be held on 10th July 2026.

The eligibility Criteria for appearing in the entrance test are as follows:

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline of the University or a degree of any other University which has been recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto, with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PwD) in the aggregate. Provided that in the case of candidates having Bachelor's degree of the University through Modern Indian Languages [Hindi / Urdu / Punjabi (Gurmukhi script)] and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit / Persian / Arabic) or degree of any other University obtained in the same manner recognised by the Syndicate, 50% marks in the aggregate shall be calculated by taking into account full percentage of marks in all the papers in Language excluding the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together.

  OR

• A pass in the final examination conducted by the (a) Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, (b) Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England, or (c) Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

  OR

• AMIE Examination with 50% marks or more after having passed the diploma examination with 60% marks or above, and having at least 5 years of research/teaching or professional experience.

• Admission Form is of four pages. Candidates are advised to ensure that they print Admission Form on both sides of the paper.
• All entries in the Admission Form must be made in the candidate’s own handwriting in a clear and legible manner. INCOMPLETE FORMS SHALL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED. If any column in the form is left unfilled or form is unsigned or any information sought is incomplete or the copies of requisite certificate(s) is/are not annexed, the Admission Form will be straightway rejected and no claim will be entertained later on. If any information sought is not applicable to the candidate, the word ‘N.A.’ should be entered against that column.
• Candidates are advised to attach a self-attested copy of following documents:
  a. All academic certificates matric onwards
  b. Character Certificate from previously attended institution
  c. Certificate for claiming the benefit of reserved category, if applicable
  d. Gap year affidavit, if applicable
• Candidates need to pay the Registration Fee (Rs. 2,000/- for General Category and Rs. 1,000/- for SC/ST/PwD Candidates) in the form a Demand Draft in favour of “The Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh” payable at Chandigarh.
• Duly filled application form along with requisite documents, must be submitted in the Office of The Director, Panjab University Regional Centre, Civil Lines, Ludhiana-141001 on or before 29th June, 2026 by 04:00 P.M.
• The Special Entrance Test for the candidates who have not appeared in CAT-2025 or MAT (2025-26), will be held on 30th June, 2026 at 09:30 A.M. in the department. The duration of the test will be 01 hour only comprising 60 objective-type questions. The test will have three sections viz Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension; Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning; and Quantitative Ability. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers.
• Group Discussion & Personal Interviews (GD & PI) will also be conducted on 30th June, 2026 for all the candidates.
• Counselling cum admission session for the shortlisted candidates will be held on 10th July, 2026 at UBS, PU Regional Centre, Civil Lines, Ludhiana – 141001.
