Counselling and Admission to B.Tech/B.Des Programmes North-East (NE) Quota, 2026-27
The candidates included in the Lists A–C below are called on merit based on JEE(Main) 2026
CRL for counselling and admission/chance admission to B. Tech/B. Des programmes in the
School of Engineering, Tezpur University for the academic session 2026-27.
The candidates are required to report to the in-charge of admission at the admission venue, at
the specified date and time given in the list for counselling, credential verification and
admission/chance admission. The candidates are required to be present at the time of
admission for branch selection and signing various forms. The candidates shall have to
produce the documents stated below in original for verification and submit self-attested
copies of the same for official record during admission:

Fees for hostel will be required to pay during hostel seat allotment.
Applicants admitted during this counselling are required to report to their respective departments for course registration and to their allotted hostels on 03 August 2026.
Documents required and other instructions:
The candidates are required to be present at the time of admission for branch selection and signing
various forms. The candidates shall have to produce the documents stated below in original for
verification and submit self-attested copies of the same along with a copy of the application
form for official record during admission:
- A print copy of the online filled application form
- PRC of any of the NE states issued by the competent authority (candidates failing to produce PRC in original will forfeit the seat. Court affidavit, proof of applying for PRC etc. will not be accepted).
- JEE (Main) scorecard (as downloaded from NTA website and having scanable QR Code).
- Pass certificates of Class10 and 10+2 examinations conducted by the Board/Council.
- Marksheets/grade cards of Class10 and 10+2 examinations conducted by the Board/Council.
- A character certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
- Certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination showing the Date of Birth.
- Valid SC/ ST/ latest EWS/latest OBC-Non-Creamy Layer (NCL)/ PWD certificate issued by the competent authority for claiming admission under reserved category (candidate failing to produce the certificate will be treated as Unreserved category candidate).
- Latest OBC-(NCL) certificate issued by the competent authority for the candidates claiming admission against OBC (NCL) seats should be valid on the date of admission. Candidates producing OBC certificate but not producing NCL will not be admitted against the seats reserved for OBC-NCL category.
- Latest EWS certificate issued by the competent authority for the candidates claiming admission against EWS seats should be valid on the date of admission, otherwise the candidates will be considered in unreserved category as per merit.
- Gap certificate issued by the District Police Authority/Court affidavit, in case of a break in study after the qualifying examination for more than one year after passing 10+2 examination.
- The candidates will be required to submit an undertaking towards fulfilment of eligibility criteria and submission of documents, duly filled in and signed by the candidates and his/ her parent/ guardian along with other documents at the time of admission.
- Two copies of passport size photographs.
- Any candidates reporting late (i.e., after announcement of her/his name) during the session (as per schedule) of counselling, he/she may only be considered at the end of the session in which he/she reports.
- The candidates will be required to pay the prescribed admission fee through debit card swiping or UPI to confirm admission, failing which such allocation of seat will stand withdrawn.
- Candidate MUST keep her/his login user name and password of the SAMARTH admission portal and come prepared to access the portal during admission from any digital/ smart devices. (Candidates are advised to verify the information by logging into the portal before reporting for counselling. Inability to access the portal by the candidate during admission may lead to failure of that particular seat confirmation by candidate at that stage of admission.)

for B.Tech. /B. Des admission of Tezpur University.

Serial numbers against names in lists are as per JEE CRL submitted by applicants and may
vary as per physical verification during counselling.

Status of vacant seats to be notified in TU Website after end of each day’s counselling and
admission.
