Admission notification for PDF under Visvesvaraya Ph.D. scheme, Phase-II

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Academic Year 2026-27

Applications in prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for one (01) Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) position on Full Time basis for the Academic Year 2026-27 in the following Department of the University under the ‘Visvesvaraya PhD scheme, Phase-II’ supported by MeitY, Govt. of India:

Fellowship: Fellowship @ Rs.1,08,393/- per month for 12 month (one year).

PDF contingency Grant Support: An amount of PDF Contingency @ Rs.1,00,000/- for one year as per the terms and conditions of the 'Visvesvaraya Ph.D. scheme, Phase- II' supported by MeitY, Govt. of India.

Travel grant: Rs. 2, 10,000/-

Travel support for PDF awardees, limited to: (a) visa fee and one-time travel support for overseas faculty/applicant returning to India to take up the PDF assignment; and (b) participation in activities/events/workshops of the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme on invitation from PhD Cell, DIC as per the terms and conditions of the 'Visvesvaraya Ph.D. scheme, Phase-II' supported by MeitY, Govt. of India.
