Notification for provisional common merit rank list of candidates for admission through CUET-UG 2026

Subject to verification of original documents and satisfaction of the minimum requirement of qualifications, the candidates given in the Common Merit List are provisionally selected for admission/chance admission to various UG programs through CUET(UG)-2026 score in the Academic Year 2026-27.

Dates for online fee payment by the selected candidates to book their seat is

• For PWD: 28 July, 2026
• Unreserved seats: 28-30 July 2026
• For reserved seats: 31 July – 3 Aug. 2026

Candidates will receive an email on their registered email ID if selected for admission as per merit. Such candidates will be required to book seat on SAMARTH portal by paying required admission fees as shown hereunder.

Candidates who book their seats by depositing the admission fee are required to report in the respective department for physical verification of documents during 6^th to 7^th August, 2026. Classes will start from 10^th August, 2026.

For B. Tech. in FET, the candidates are required to report for physical verification of documents during 13^th to 14^th August, 2026. Classes will start from 17^th August, 2026

At the time of physical verification at Tezpur University, candidates are required to be personally present and to bring the prescribed Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner along with all relevant documents in original.

At the moment, University has very limited number of vacant hostel seats. Subject to availability of seats, allotment of hostel will be notified separately.
