Subject to verification of original documents and satisfaction of the minimum requirement of qualification, the candidates given in the Merit List are provisionally selected for provisional admission to Ph. D. programmes for the academic session 2026-27.
Booking of seat by the candidates from the Merit List will be held during 20-24 July 2026.
Candidates will receive an email on their registered email ID for booking of seat on SAMARTH portal by paying required admission fees as shown hereunder.
Candidates who books their seat by depositing the admission fee are required to report in the respective department for physical verification of documents during 27-28 July, 2026. Classes will start from 29th July, 2026.
At the time of physical verification at Tezpur University, candidates are required to bring the prescribed Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner along with all relevant documents in original.
At the moment, University has very limited number of vacant hostel seats. Subject to availability of seats, allotment of hostel will be notified separately.
The candidates who appeared in PI(Personal Interview) but not recommended for admission in this semester, will be allowed to appear for Personal Interview again during Spring semester -2027 admission subjected to availability of vacant seats.
Note: Subject to availability of fund, a few number of admitted students will be considered for Non-NET fellowship as per rule.
