Guidelines for online Admission to UG Courses in Academic Session 2026-2027

Candidates must submit application form online for admission in the official website, www.mcconline.org.in with necessary documents as mentioned in the application form.

Payment of Application Fee:
No fees will be applicable for online application process.

An applicant can apply in maximum five subjects in Honours course.

Only those candidates, who have passed their H.S. or equivalent examinations in the years of 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026 are eligible to apply. (The students who have passed in the year of 2022 are require a special permission from Secretary, Faculty Council for under graduate studies, Vidyasagar University).

To be eligible to apply in Honours, a student must obtain pass marks in five
recognised subjects with at least one language subject in H.S. or equivalent
examinations.

Candidates who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination with minimum 45%
marks in aggregate (best of five excluding Environment studies) or 50% marks in
the subject are eligible to apply for admission in the honours course.

Any candidate seeking admission in Lab based subjects he/she must obtain pass
marks in those subjects in H.S. or equivalent examination.

Admission related queries would be entertained in the college office during 10:00 am
to 5:30 pm on the mentioned (working) days.

If any candidate discovers any discrepancy in the Provisional Merit List then he/she is
required to ask the matter with concerned authorised person(s) in the college office.
Otherwise, after the publication of the final merit list, no request for correction will be
entertained.

Minor subject [east while general (pass)] Subjects/Generics combination will be
finalized during Counselling as per merit list and availability of the subjects.

During filling-up of application forms, kindly provide the information and data
properly as mentioned in the application form.

Admitted students must attend at least 50% of classes in the first 30 days since the
date of commencement of classes. On the contrary, his/her admission will stand
cancelled.
