Advertisement for Institute Post-Doctoral Fellowship

Applications are invited for Institute Post-Doctoral Fellowship (IPDF) in the following Departments:

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must have obtained the Ph.D. Degree from an Institute of Repute.
• NIT Mizoram Ph.D. Degree holders are not eligible under this scheme.
• The applicant should have published at least 2 research papers in SCI/SCIE/SSCI journals.
• Women Ph.D. will be given preference.

Post-Doctoral Fellows Tenure and Fellowships:

The appointment of Institute Post-doctoral Fellows is of purely a temporary assignment and is tenable for an initial period of 1 year that can be extended to a maximum period of another 1 year based on the recommendation of concerned Supervisor and subsequent approval of the Competent Authority.

• The amount of the fellowship for IPDF will be fixed at Rs. 65,000/- only per month inclusive of HRA for a period of one year and if the IPDF term is renewed for 1 more year then the fellowship will be Rs. 67,000/- only per month considering ~3% increase inclusive of HRA.

• Candidate(s) are advised to mention their Contact No. & email IDs correctly in the CV. Name of the short-listed candidate(s) for attending presentation cum interview shall be made available on the Institute’s website or may be intimated by e-mail by the respective Head of the Department.
• Hard copy of the filled-in application CV completes in all respect to be produced as per the instruction of Institute’s Authority. If the candidate(s) fail to produce the original application form and supporting documents or if their claims are found to be incorrect on verification, their candidature shall be cancelled automatically.
