It is hereby informed that for the examinations conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) and other examinations, students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) will be provided Pre-Examination Training through the Pre-Examination Training Centre (PETC) for the year 2026–27. The training will be conducted from 21.04.2026 to 30.06.2026.

For the current financial year 2025–26, under the SC/ST component, training will be provided at 60–60 seats (total 120 seats) in 2 centres based on merit list. Out of the total seats, 35% reservation for women and 3% reservation for persons with disabilities will be applicable.

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in a multiple-choice written test. During the training period, residential facilities will be provided. The eligibility criteria for application are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

1. 1. The age limit and minimum educational qualification must be as prescribed for the respective examination.
   2. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
   3. The candidate must belong to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe community.
   4. The annual income of the candidate and their parents/guardians from all sources combined must not exceed Rs. 2,50,000 (Two lakh fifty thousand).

Additional Conditions

2. During the training period, attendance must be at least 75%. Scholarships/stipends will be payable only after allotment by the state government.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted along with the following documents:

• Caste certificate
• Residential certificate
• Income certificate
• Self-attested application form with a postal stamp of Rs. 40
• Three passport-size photographs

Applications should be submitted to the District Welfare Office or the Director, Pre-Examination Training Centre, Purnia College, Purnia.

The written examination will be conducted under the supervision of the District Welfare Office at Purnia College, Purnia between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

The last date for submission of application forms is 06.05.2026. The examination date will be announced within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.
