Addendum regarding Admission to M.A. in Philosophy

With reference to the notification dated 04.05.2026 regarding Dibmgarh University Admission Test (DUAT) 2026 for admission to Post Graduate Prograinmes of Dibrugarh University, the eligibility criteria for admission to M.A. in Philosophy are hereby revised to accommodate students of FYUG/Integrated PG Programme under NEP 2020.

Hence, the Eligibility Criteria for the students appearing in DUAT 2026 for admission to M.A. in Philosophy shall be read as follows:

• Bachelor's Degree whh Major/Honours in the concerned subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
  OR
• Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of Genenl Programme or equivalent grade point.
  OR
• Successfully completed 6th Semester of FYUG/Integrated PG Programme under NEP 2020 with Major in Philosophy.
