Shortlisting Policy and Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI) Shedule for
P33 - 2 year Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Programme

This is to notify all concerned candidates who were qualified in the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT-2026) for the 2 year Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programme that the shortlisting for the next stage of evaluation has been completed. Based on the General Merit Rank (GMR), candidates ranking from GMR 1 to 120 have been shortlisted for further evaluation.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to participate in a Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI) as part of the selection process. The GD/PI will be conducted as per the following policy framed by the competent authority.

Selection and Shortlisting Policy: Candidates for the 2 year Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programme are shortlisted for the Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI) in a 1:4 ratio based on their General Merit Rank (GMR). In accordance with this policy, the top 120 GMR-ranked candidates who were qualified in the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT-2026) are called to participate in the GD/PI rounds. Please note that there is no separate reservation for internal or external candidates. All seats will be allotted strictly on the basis of the final merit rank. This final merit rank will be prepared and published based on the combined scores achieved in the written test (AUAT-2026 OMR score) and the GD/PI evaluation.

GD/PI Schedule & Venue:

The Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI) will commence at 10:30 AM on the scheduled days. Late arrival will not be entertained. Attendance in the GD/PI round is strictly compulsory. Failure to appear will result in the automatic cancellation of your candidature. Please note that being called for the GD/PI rounds does not guarantee admission into the programme. The final merit rank of allotted candidates will be published on the university website.
