Provisional Allotment List of International Candidates for Admission to Different UG and PG Programmes, 2026

Based on the availability of seats and the official report of the Committee for Admission of International Students, following candidates have been provisionally allotted in various Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic session: 2026-27.

Selected candidates must log in to the University Foreign Candidates’ online application portal at https://aums.aliah.ac.in/home/loginUi?t=8 using their credentials to access and download official admission offer letter, then report in person to the AUAT Office, (2nd Floor, Aliah University New Town Campus, Action Area II, Plot No. IIA/27, New Town, Kolkata, India, 700160) on or before 14th October, 2026, to complete physical document verification and final admission formalities; failure to report by this deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat. Upon receiving the Offer Letter, international candidates must prepare the required documents (specifically items 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8 as specified on the following page) and ensure they are duly attested by either the Indian Embassy in their home country, the High Commission of their home country in India, or their local Ministry of Education. To complete the admission process, candidates are required to physically report to the AUAT Office for the final verification of all original documents and submit their admission fees. The fee must be paid via a Demand Draft made in favor of "Aliah University," payable at Kolkata, India.

Following Documents are required at the time of Verification and Final Admission:

• 1. Passport with student visa.
• Birth Certificate (Birth Certificate/Certificate issued by AIU recognized Examination Board/Council/University).
• Both sides of Transcripts/Mark sheets/Certificates of all examinations passed including qualifying examination (with explanation of assigned grades).
• Valid Certificate of TOEFL/Academic IELTS/ELPC if any. (It is not a mandatory criterion. Candidates, who have studied in English medium at the school/college level, or have at least studied English as a language at the school level, may be considered provided documentary evidence is submitted).
• Income certificate from the competent authority indicating the sufficiency of income to bear the cost of studying in India.
• Association of Indian Universities Equivalence certificate. (Required if the name of the Board/University issuing the degree/Certificate is not in the list of AIU).
• No Objection Certificate from Protocol Division of MEA, Government of India if the candidate is a Working Diplomat.
• Transfer/School leaving Certificate from the Institute last attended.
• Physical fitness certificate.
• Papers related to Medical Insurance.
• Certificate of Migration (this is obligatory for those coming from any other Statutory Indian University).
• Registration Certificate issued by the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO).

NB: Every candidate is responsible for the eligibility criteria and final selection will be done as per stipulated criteria for admission during physical verification of documents. In case of any discrepancy, the University shall have all right to cancel the admission of any candidate. Payment of admission fees does not confirm the admission. Admission may be cancelled if any discrepancy (incorrect information / non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria) is detected at any stage.
