ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) is a central admission process for conducting admission into various UG, PG & B.Ed courses in Aliah University. It is governed by AUAT Committee under the supervision of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. The AUAT Committee shall function as an independent body for framing the norms regulating admission, admission procedures and finalizing the names of qualified candidates for admission.

Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT-2025) will be conducted for all UG, PG & B.Ed. programmes. Admission Test for all UG programmes will be conducted in different centres across the state. However, admission test for Nursing, B.Ed. and PG programmes will be conducted in the Kolkata centre only. Admission in various UG, PG & B.Ed programmes will be taken solely on the basis of merit score of AUAT-2025 fulfilling other minimal eligibility criteria.

Online Application for admission into various UG, PG and B.Ed. Programmes through AUAT-2025 will be started from 10/03/2025 (Tentatively).

Admission Procedure

STEP-1: Online Application
Candidates have to apply online within the stipulated time mentioned in the Aliah University website (www.aliah.ac.in).

STEP-2: Marks/Marksheet Upload
Marks/ mark sheets to be uploaded during the online application process, but candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination, mark sheets/ documents to be uploaded before the stipulated date mentioned in the Aliah University website (www.aliah.ac.in).

STEP-3: Admit Card
Candidates have to download the admit card within the stipulated time. Examination/Test venue and schedule will be mentioned in the admit card.

STEP-4: Admission Test
Admission test will be conducted for UG programmes in different centres across the state. However, admission test for Nursing, B.Ed. and PG programmes will be conducted in the Kolkata centre only. As per the Date, Time & Venue mentioned in the admit card, candidates have to appear for the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT-2025).

STEP-5: Provisional Merit List
Provisional Merit List/ Result will be published and candidates have to download the Rank Card by logging in to the admission portal using his/her User Id & Password.

STEP-6: Counselling
Counselling will be held for programme codes U14 & U21 to select the specific programme/subject. Counselling will be held for programme codes U08 & P08 to select the study centre.

STEP-7: Provisional Allotment List
Provisional Allotment lists will be published on the scheduled dates (to be notified later). Candidates who will be enlisted in the provisional allotment list, only can pay admission fees online.

STEP-8: Online Payment for Admission
Candidates enlisted in the provisional allotment list will be informed about the schedule of online payment for admission along with the provisional allotment list; and within that scheduled date & time candidates will have to pay the admission fees online.

STEP-9: Documents Verification/Final Admission
To complete the admission procedure, candidates have to be present physically at the specified venue to produce all required original documents, along with rank card and payment receipt. Venue, date and time for document verification will be notified later.
