Admission to Certificate Course on Kathopanishad (online/virtual mode) for those joining from India 2026
Class Timing: Every Sunday, 1.30—3.00 PM (Indian Standard Time, during winters) and 12.30—2.00 PM (Indian Standard Time, during summers, when the daylight saving begins in UK—you will be duly notified about the timings, but right now, we begin at 12.30 PM).
(Note: The zoom link will be provided to all the registered participants before the classes begin.)
Classes start from: 1st February, 2026 (Sunday) and continue on every Sunday thereafter.
Medium of instruction: English
Text-book recommended for the Course: Kathopanishad by Swami Sarvanandaji, published by Ramakrishna Math, Chennai (with word-for-word meaning, running translation, notes based on Sri Shankaracharya’s commentary.
Reference book: Upanishads by Swami Nikhilanandaji, originally published from New York Vedanta Society, USA and now published in India by Advaita Ashrama, Mayavati, Himalayas (available at the Kolkata branch of Advaita Ashrama at Dehi Entally Road, Kolkata)
(Note: Both of these books will be displayed on the screen during the class)
Course Instructor: Swami Atmapriyananda, Pro-Chancellor & Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (Deemed to be University as declared by the Government of India under University Grants Commission Act, 1956), Belur Math, West Bengal.
Course Dakshina (fees): Rs. 2,000/- for the entire course of one year.
