Applications are invited from MALE candidates only for admission to Certificate Course in "Strength & Conditioning in Sports" at Belur Main Campus (Classes start from July 2026).

Eligibility to Apply:

Male only, should be medically fit adults (Maximum age limit – 45 years).
Minimum educational qualification: candidate should be at least 12th standard pass from a recognized board or institution, candidates with higher qualifications are welcome to apply.

Target Audience:

Students (B.Sc. / BPT / B.P.E.S / B.P.Ed.) interested to pursue career in fitness and strength & conditioning can do this certificate program.
People working in fitness centres, gymnasium, sports and rehabilitation industry, sports industries as fitness trainer, gym instructor, coach, sports support staff and physiotherapist can enrich their knowledge through this certificate program.

Curriculum Highlights:

Duration: 6 months (including exams).
Credits: Total 12 (8 credits in Theory + 4 credits in Practical).
Total Teaching Weeks: 22 Weeks.
Total Contact Hours: 250 Hrs (Theory + Practical).
Class timings:
- Sundays: 10:00 A.M. - 04:00 P.M. (offline practical classes)
- Three days during Weekdays: Theory classes (online), 07:00 P.M. - 09:00 P.M.
Medium of Instruction: English
Mode of Course Delivery: Hybrid (Online + Offline).
Attendance Requirement: minimum 75%.
Course Assessment: Quiz, Discussion Board, Assignment, Practical Assignment, Module Test, & Written Exam.
Lab & Field Training: SSY has laboratories for strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, rehabilitation, neuroscience, etc., where practical sessions will be held.

Admission Procedure:

Register and log in at Online Admission Portal .
Fill in the online application form and upload the required documents –
(i) 10th and 12th mark sheets
(ii) Sports participation (optional)
(iii) Photograph.
Submit the form and pay the application fee of ₹300 online through the same portal.
Eligible candidates will be called for an offline Entrance test, will be mostly field-based fitness tests.
On the day of test, candidates must bring original copies of 10th & 12th mark sheets and certificates, medical fitness certificate from a registered physician and sports participation proof (if any).
Verification of documents will be done on the day of the test. Failing to generate required documents may lead to rejection of application.

Course Fees: Rs. 15,000/- (for the entire course)
