Monday saw temperatures exceeding 44 degrees Celsius in nine locations statewide. Buxar and Bhojpur registered the highest temperatures at 45.9 degrees Celsius, with others such as Arwal (45.7), Dehri (45.6), Aurangabad and Bikramganj (both at 45.5), Gaya (45.1), and Nawada (44.9) also experiencing intense heat.
