Application fee: Rs. 2,500/-.

There will be only one round of applications.
Only applicants who submit their applications by Jan 31, 2027, will be able to upload the BITSDAT/UCEED/NID DAT Prelims Scores when the portal is opened.
Fresh applications will not be accepted during the score upload window.
All timelines above are subject to change at the discretion of BITSDES.

Qualifications

10+2 or equivalent in any stream from any recognised board of education with minimum 45% (appearing or passed)
Applicants should either have taken or be registered for at least one of these tests:
- National Institute of Design - Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT ) Prelims
- IIT Bombay Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED )
- BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT)

Interview Focus
We believe in nurturing the next generation of design innovators who bring passion, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. During the portfolio interview, we identify applicants who possess the following qualities:

01 - You are fully committed to a career in design
02 - You are creatively inclined and have a sense of aesthetics
03 - You have an aptitude for design and problem solving
04 - You communicate clearly through verbal and all other media

Fees and Financing

Tuition Fee	Rs. 7,70,000/-
Residential Fee	Rs. 2,27,000/-
Total	Rs. 9,97,000/-

A one-time Admission Fee of Rs. 40,000 and Security Deposit of ₹20,000 will be payable at the time of accepting the admission offer.
The Residential Fee includes housing and access to the sports facilities only. Meals and laundry services are excluded.
These fees are subject to an annual increase of up to 8%.
For information regarding withdrawals and refunds, please refer to our Refund Policy.
The cost of books and other learning materials will be additional and borne by the student.

Financing

We are making arrangements with leading banks to facilitate students' access to education loans. The loans will be offered at interest rates that are among the lowest available in the country.
Cash deposits made directly into the institute's bank account are strictly prohibited. Students and other payers are requested to make fee payments only through the approved payment modes available on the fee payment portal.
