Duration of the Programme:
The Duration of the programme is 3 academic years, comprising 6 semesters

Eligibility for Admission

Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions given below as on last date of submission of application are eligible to apply.

Eligible Qualification:

Candidates should have passed the Diploma course in any one of the following branches:

Sandwich programs in any of above branches conducted by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or Other State are also eligible.

For B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Candidates should have passed the Diploma course in any one of the following branches:

If a candidate claims that the educational qualification possessed by him / her (though not the same as prescribed eligible qualification) is equivalent to the eligible qualification prescribed, he / she should obtain the Eligibility Certificate from the Director, Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai 600 025 on or before the last date prescribed for registration of the online application. However, the claim would be subject to the decision of the admitting authority.
Year of Passing Diploma:
Candidates should have passed the diploma examination in one of the branches specified above during the academic year 2023-24 / 2024-25 / 2025-26.
Age Limit:
Should be born on or after Jan 1, 2005.
Mode of Study:
The eligible mode of Diploma study shall be Full Time or Lateral Entry. Candidates studied in Part-Time or distance mode are not eligible.
Eligible Marks:
The candidates shall have overall average of 60% in Diploma score and no arrears as on date of application.
Medical Test:
Students should undergo internship training at the manufacturing line of HL Mando Anand India Pvt. Ltd and therefore, it is mandatory for all the candidates to undergo a Medical Test. The final selection will be subject to clearance of the Medical Test as per rules prevailing in HL MANDO.

Counselling Process

The counseling for admission for the Academic Year 2026-27 will be conducted only through Online Mode. Once the Merit list is published and the tentative allotment is released, candidate should access the website and give his/her acceptance within a stipulated time given thereof.

Application Fee

Payment of application fee of Rs. 500/- (+18% GST) for OC / BC / BCM / MBC & DNC category candidates through online mode.
Payment of application fee of Rs. 250/- (+18% GST) for SC / SCA / ST category candidates through online mode.
