• It is a full time programme and classes will be held on all working days.
• As per the convenience of the renowned visiting faculty, some classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Teaching Assistantship is available for Gate qualified students. Under this, they have to teach for 4 hours/week and would receive the stipend accordingly on a per hour basis.

Eligibility

M.Tech. (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)	Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying examination
M.Tech. (Automotive Technology)	Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying examination
M.Tech. (Engineering Design)	(a) Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying examination (b) UG + 2 years’ industry experience / Research experience in a research lab
M.Tech. (Robotics and Automation)	Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying examination
M.Tech. (Geoinformatics)	Candidate should be an Engineering Graduate (B.E./B.Tech.), M.Sc. Geoinformatics, M.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Geology, M.Sc. Environmental Science, M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Agriculture or equivalent from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination

Entrance Examination and Personal Interview:

GATE qualified students are not required to attend the Entrance Examination and will be directed called for the personal interview.
For Non-GATE students, a qualifier entrance examination will be conducted.
The entrance exam will be conducted in online mode.
Students can attempt the entrance exam using a computer, laptop, or a mobile phone with internet connectivity.

Merit listing (Branch Allocation)
For GATE candidates- Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates and admission of such candidates will be based on GATE score.
For Non-GATE candidates- The entrance examination and personal interview will be conducted at SIT, and based on the score of the entrance exam, merit will be declared.

Registration Instructions

Click on Register and enter your data in the online application form.
Click on the 'I Agree' button to accept the Terms.
Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
Click on "Save and Continue" to choose a password and the hint questions that will be asked if you forget your password.
Now click on "Save and Continue" to register.
The screen will now display your M.Tech. ID.
After successful registration, you will get an email containing your M.Tech. ID and M.Tech password. Use this M.Tech. ID for all future correspondence with the Symbiosis Institute of Technology. Use this M.Tech. ID and M.Tech. password to enter the online application form to make any modification to the details provided by you.
Click on the 'Click here to Continue' link that appears along with your M.Tech. ID and proceed for make payment. The screen will now display the Make Payment options.
The registration amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Payment Instructions

Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,500/-.
Online Payment through Debit card / Credit card / Internet Banking and UPI.
SIT reserves the exclusive right to reject any application without assigning any reasons thereof.
A non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,500/- for online application is payable by every candidate at the time of registration for the SIT.
All disputes in this regard are subject to the legal jurisdiction of Pune.
All the information pertaining to SIT Admission 2026 will be posted on the web site, and no separate communication will be sent to the individual candidates.
