Spot Admission to the M.A. Programme in English (Session 2025-2026)

Reporting Time: 9:30 am to 10.30 am for registration. No Candidate shall be allowed to register after 10:30 am.

Venue: Department of English, Dibrugarh University

Admission Fee: As per the Fee Structure for the session 2025-2026 notified by the Registrar, D.U. vide no. DU/RG/G.01.01/2025/7699, dated 13.06.2025.

THINGS TO BE NOTED

1. Admission Procedure:
   1. The admission shall be held in Offline mode only.
   2. The merit of the Candidates securing the same score in DUPGET 2025 shall be determined on the basis of Marks secured in the B.A. or Class 12^th/10^th Examinations.
   3. The candidates provisionally selected for Admission (under any category) shall have to bring the following documents on the date of admission:
      1. Print copy of the Online Application submitted along with the photocopies of all relevant testimonials.
      2. DUPGET 2025 Score Card.
      3. Graduation Marksheet/Grade sheet and Pass Certificate.
      4. Class 10^th & 12^th Marksheet and Pass Certificate
      5. Caste Certificate [ viz SC, ST(P), ST (H), OBC/MOBC (Non-Creamy Layer Certificate) etc]
      6. EWS Certificate (if Applicable)
      7. Domicile Certificate/ Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Assam for claiming the fee waiver benefit.
      8. Income Certificate (for Fee waiver) [as per the office Memorandum of the Higher Education Department, Govt of Assam vide Memo no 490303/2024/54, dated 28.04.2025]
      9. Undertaking on “Provisional Admission” (Format is appended herewith)
      10. All relevant documents in original for producing before the admission Committee.
      11. The admission fee, Course Fee etc (as per the Fee Structure for the session 2025-2026 notified by the Registrar, D.U vide no: DU/RG/G.01.01/2025/7699, dated 13.06.2025)
          
          The Admission Fee, Course Fee, etc. (wherever applicable) is to be paid by the candidates at the time of admission through online mode by using Debit Card/ Credit Card or Internet Banking.
      12. The admission of the candidates shall be held in the Department of English, D.U
      13. The Selection and Admission of all Academic Programme covered by the Notification shall be purely provisional and subject to fulfilment of requisite norms of Qualifying Examination and other relevant criteria.
      14. Anti Ragging Undertaking: The admitted students must submit Anti-Ragging Undertaking online on http://www.antiragging.in (please refer the letter issued by the UGC vide no 1-15/2009 (ARC) PT.III, dated 12.06.2023)
