MBA (Business Analytics) is a two year general management programme spread over sixtrimester with a focus on Business Analytics for developing a competent cadre of business executives to meet the country’s growing requirements for trained personnel in the field of Data Analytics. The course structure of this programme is designed in such a manner that role of analytics is emphasized from the very beginning of the programme. Through this programme student will be exposed to core managerial concepts, business problems, data eco system including data management & its visualization, case studies, business data driven case studies and tools, platforms, and software to solve them. It is our endeavour that through this programme the student remains abreast with important developments and innovations in the industry.

In addition to the Core Courses, the choice of Elective Courses offered to students has also been increased. This is in keeping with the objective of aligning Elective Courses with changing dynamics of the business world, as well as to make the courses more industry relevant.

Fee Structure
The Total fees for the batch of MBA (BA) 2026-28 programme is Rs. 17.93 lakhs which includes Tuition fee and other charges for Library, Computer & Internet facility, Medical Insurance, Alumni & Students body.

The hostel and mess charges are Rs.1.35 lakhs per annum for double occupancy and Rs. 1.08 lakhs per annum for triple occupancy.

Eligibility

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or 5.0 CGPA out of 10. The student should have Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at Graduation level.

  Candidates must hold B.Tech. / B.E. degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute with at least 50% marks in aggregate or 5.0 CGPA out of 10.
  or
  The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or 5.0 CGPA out of 10, with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level. Applied Mathematics in 10+2 will not be considered.
• Candidates who possess completed professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) / Company Secretary (CS) / Cost and Works Accountants (ICWA)(CMA)/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) with minimum marks 50% marks [45% in case of the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), the Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories], shall also be eligible to apply.
• Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by October 31, 2027. No request for extension of time for reevaluation etc. will be entertained.
• No age limit.

Mode of Admission

• For short-listing/selecting the candidates, IIFT will use score of CAT 2026 and other defined parameters.
• Shortlisted candidates on the basis of CAT 2026 Score & other parameters will be called for second round of the admission process consisting of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
• GD/PI will be conducted in physical mode at Delhi, Kolkata, Kakinada, GIFT City, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow and Mumbai. The Institute reserves the right to add or delete any GD/PI centre or change the mode of interview due to administrative reasons.

Seats for MBA (IB)
60 seats at Delhi campus. Seats are reserved as per Government of India’s norms.

Note: SC/ST/PWD/OBC-NCL/General-EWS/Kashmiri Migrants candidates have to upload the requisite category certificate, as applicable in the central government Institute’s with the Application Form.
Category once filled by the candidate in his/her online application form, will not be changed under any circumstances.
