• Pass with 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the Master's Degree* (2 year or 4 semester Master’s Degree after a 3 year Bachelor’s Degree ^#) or equivalent in the relevant subject to qualifying LPUNEST * and Interview.
  
  ^# Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree* programme with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible.
  
  * in M.Tech. or M.E. or MS (with CSE or IT or Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or Networking and Security or Information Systems or Data Science and Analytics or Cyber Security and Forensics or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning or Computing Systems and Infrastructure or Software Systems or Cloud Computing or Mobile Computing) or equivalent.

• A candidate who has completed 4-years/8-semesters bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 75% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC is also eligible subject to qualifying LPUNEST * and Interview.
  
  NOTE: If an institute has conversion factor of 9.5 then CGPA of 7.5 will not result in 75% marks and hence such a candidate will not be eligible.
• A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC or ST or OBC (non-creamy layer) or Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.

• An applicant will be short listed for interview on the basis of his/ her score in the entrance examination LPUNEST (Ph.D.).
• The final selection for admission in Ph.D. will be based on the performance in Entrance Test (70% weightage) and Interview (30% weightage) subject to scoring minimum marks in the Interview.

• Application Form
  Register onto LPU ADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). You will receive a confirmation E-mail on your registered email id or Login to the LPU ADMIT with an already created username/ password. After updating your profile information, choose the test application form (based on eligibility criteria).
• Application forms can be obtained and submitted using one of the following methods. Option I

  Step 1: Submit Application Fill the application form and deposit the application fee.

  Step 2: Apply and Qualify LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test) Admission in these programmes is done based on performance in LPUNEST. In addition, LPUNEST also act as Scholarship test and student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test. Deposit the test fee. Fill the test application form Book the slot (preferred date, time and venue) to appear in the test. The exam will be Test Centre Based Exam only. Appear and qualify the exam.

  Step 3: Result and Interview Get your scorecard. Appear for Interview (After qualifying test) Schedule and book the slot for Interview that will be displayed on your result page. Appear for interview. Get the result of interview. After qualifying Interview, deposit the documents and Take Admission.

  Step 4: Admission After qualifying in the interview, deposit the initial payment. Upon successful realisation of the payment, proceed with the next steps: A Unique Candidate ID (CID) will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID. Upload the documents. Recent Photograph Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification he/she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ marksheet also. In case the exam certificate/ marksheet is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also. Address Proof Additionally, apply for residential, mess, transportation, or parking facilities as required. All submitted documents must be verified against the original copies within the prescribed timelines. Deposit the balance fee within the prescribed deadlines to complete your admission.

  Option II

  Step 1: Offline Mode Offline Mode LPUNEST Kit may be obtained by the applicant from the University Campus or any other prescribed place by paying cash. Cost of Application form of LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1000 (for Boys and Girls). Once the applicant has obtained the LPUNEST Kit, application form can be submitted by one of the following methods: Manual Application: Fill the full application form (OMR sheet) after reading all the instructions as specified under the head “Instructions for filling Application Form (OMR sheet)” and send it to the university in the self-addressed envelope on the following Address: Block 30, Room No 102, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar Delhi, GT Road, Phagwara, Punjab, India – 144411 Note: Incomplete application (For example: Declaration not signed) will not be processed. LPU does not take responsibility to inform these applicants. Such applicants will not be able to access the LPU Admit. Applicants are hence advised to duly fill the application form and dispatch it along with complete requisite documents in all respects.

  Step 2: Semi-Offline Application Semi-Offline Application: In case applicant is unable to send the hard copy of application form (OMR Sheet), then applicant may scratch the Unique OMR code available on application form (OMR Sheet) and follow the below mentioned steps: Sign up on LPU ADMIT portal (admission.lpu.in ) When prompted for payment, choose the option of Unique OMR Code (given on OMR Sheet)and fill the same. After successful submission of online application form, refer the step-3 of Online Mode option as mentioned above. Note: Printout of the computer-generated application should be retained by the applicant for reference. All our correspondence including test centre booking and Hall Ticket details will be through email only. Therefore, the applicants are requested to get ready with valid email id and mobile number for contact. No separate communication will be done for the same.

• For the above-mentioned schedule, the mode of examination will be test centre-based.
• This is a tentative schedule; any of the dates and other details mentioned above are subject to change at the discretion of the University.
• No separate intimation or announcement will be provided to applicants.
• Subsequent phases of admission will be conducted if seats remain vacant.

• The programme fee remains the same throughout the duration of the programme.
