Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics Engineering) or (MCA or MSc (IT/ Computer Science)) equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST * or GATE.

5% relaxation in aggregate marks in the qualifying examination will be applicable for candidates from North-East states and Sikkim, Defence Personnel, their dependents, and wards of Kashmiri migrants.
*The LPUNEST exam offers convenient choices to candidates: Online remotely proctored from Home (recommended by the university, based on available resources) or Test centre-based options.

The declaration date of offline exam results may vary from the above schedule. Candidates will receive their test results directly within their portal.
The remotely proctored exam will be monitored live through various Artificial Intelligence tools and by the invigilators.

No separate intimation or announcement to any applicant(s) will be given.
Subsequent Phases of admission will be conducted if seats remain vacant.

How to Apply

Step 1 – Sign Up
- Register on the LPUADMIT portal by providing your basic details, including your name, email address, mobile number, state, and gender. Your email address will serve as your username, and you will set your password during registration.
- You will receive a registration confirmation email at your registered email address.
- After successful registration, log in to LPUADMIT using your username and password.
Step 2 – Apply for LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test)
LPUNEST is LPU’s national-level online entrance and scholarship test, used to evaluate candidates for admission and determine applicable scholarship benefits based on their test performance.
- Pay the applicable fee:
  - The cost of the application form, including a soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit, is Rs. 1,000/-.
  - The cost of the application form, including a hard copy of the LPUNEST Kit, is Rs. 1,500/-.
- Fill in the test application form.
Step 3 – Book the Exam Slot and Appear for the Exam
- Book a slot to appear for the LPUNEST exam:
  - For the test centre-based exam, book the preferred venue, date, and time.

- Appear for LPUNEST and qualify to proceed to the next step.
Step 4 – View Result
- View your LPUNEST result and proceed with the admission process.
Step 5 - Confirm Your Admission
- Deposit an initial payment of Rs.10000. After successful payment, a unique candidate ID will be generated and sent to your registered email address.
- Upload the documents:
  - Recent Photograph
  - Matriculation Marksheet
  - Qualifying Examination Certificate/Marksheet
  Also, if the applicant is claiming a scholarship based on an earlier qualification, the certificate/marksheet for that qualification must also be submitted. If this certificate/marksheet is not available at the time of filling in the application form, as in the case of recently appeared candidates, it may be submitted later.
  - Address Proof
- Apply for residential, mess, transportation, or parking facilities, as required.
- Get all submitted documents verified against the originals within the prescribed timelines.
- Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the University.
