Admission to Post Graduate Certificate Course in Editing & Publishing 2025

Applications are invited from graduates in any discpline for a Certificate Course in 'Editing and Publishing' to be conducted by the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University, from July-September. 2025. The course will be conducted in Bengali, and is geared towards the Bengali publishing industry.

Classes will be held in person, three days a week, from 06:00 to 08:00 P.M.

Course Fee: Rs. 12,500/- + 18% GST = Rs. 14,750/-

Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline

Applications must be made by email to editpubsctr@jadavpuruniversity.in. A screening test may be held if necessary.

Deadline for receipt of applications: 11:59 P.M. on 02/06/2025.

Scholarship for the Course: A total of five(5) scholarships for the course, amounting to Rs. 20,000/- each, has been endowed by Pradipta Sarkar, as alumna of Jadavpur University and the SCTR. Any applicant to the course may apply for the scholarship, but preference will be given to the following:
1. Applicants who are facing financial hardship
2. Women and/or marginalized communities
3. People who would have to travel from outside Kolkata in order to attend classes

Those wishing to apply for the scholarship should attach a statement and supporting evidence, if any, explaining why they should be given the scholarship. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview.
