The Directorate of Education (DoE), Government of NCT of Delhi, has published the results of the first computerized draw for admissions under the EWS, DG, and CWSN categories for the 2026–27 academic year. The draw was conducted at 10:00 AM, marking the start of the admission process in private unaided recognized schools.
Following the result declaration, the document verification stage has commenced. Selected applicants will receive details about their assigned verification centers via SMS on their registered mobile numbers.
A total of 29 zonal teams have been formed across 15 districts under the supervision of District Deputy Directors of Education. Each team includes a zonal DDE, a section officer or equivalent official, and two data entry operators.
These teams are being trained to ensure proper implementation of the Right to Education (RTE) Act and to handle document verification efficiently. Verification will be based solely on the information submitted in online applications along with uploaded documents. Help desks and single-window systems will be available at district offices to assist applicants.
To qualify under the EWS category, the annual family income must be below ₹5 lakh. Accepted residence proof includes ration card, domicile certificate, voter ID card, utility bills, or passport. No additional documents will be accepted.
