Important Instructions for Admission to 3-Year LL.B.(Hons) Course of Studies for the Session: 2025-2027
Online applications are invited from the eligible intending candidates for admission to the
3-Year LL.B. (Hons.) Courses of Studies for the Session 2025-2027 (BCI Session 2024-2025),
The University of Burdwan. Online forms will be available on the University website
(www.buruniv.ac.in) on and from
17.09.2025 to 30.09.2025.
Eligibility Criteria: For Unreserved Category candidates at least 45% marks in the
Bachelor's Degree under 10+2+3/10+2+4 pattern, for OBC-A/OBC-B Categories 42% marks,
and for SC/ST Categories 40% marks in the Bachelor's Degree under 10+2+3/10+2+4 pattern
or 45% marks in the Master’s Degree for all categories.
The entire process of admission to the 3-Year LL.B. (Hons.) Course of Studies 2025 for
candidates under reserved categories shall be concluded subject to the orders and
directions passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and/or the Hon’ble High Court at
Calcutta, as may be applicable in this regard.
Applications of the candidates failing to fulfil minimum eligibility criteria of admission
will be rejected.
BEFORE FORM FILLING READ THE INFORMATION BROCHURE THOROUGHLY.
Candidates must have ready a passport size photograph, scanned copies of his/her signature,
admit card of 10th standard, marksheets of all examinations, reserved category certificate
(if applicable) and other required document for uploading during filling the form.
Candidate should ensure that the Submission Status of the Application is “Successful” and
retain a copy of the Application Form after Successful Submission.

After successful completion of Anti-Ragging undertaking, take the Anti-Ragging Undertaking
Reference Number to be used in filling on the Online Application Form. You may retain a printout
of acknowledgement of Anti-Ragging undertaking to be submitted at the time of commencement of
classes, if admitted.
