Instructions for aspirants in the Merit List for Admissions 2025

Admission Date- 17th to 19th July 2025
Time 10:00AM to 5:00 PM

After declaration of Merit List for admission in various Undergraduate and Post Graduate programs the counseling and registration process for admission will be conducted between 17th to 19th July 2025 in the University Campus. Selected candidates are required to be present in the University at respective offices of the Schools/Departments at 10:00AM onwards on the working days in the above duration for confirmation of admission/registration.

The following instructions are required to be followed by the candidates seeking admissions in different academic programs of the Doon University:

The applicant should ensure that his/her name is in the merit list of selected candidates for Admissions in the Academic Programme for which he/ she has applied.
Prior to proceed, the candidate must ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria for admission in the respective program for which passing certificate/marksheet (minimum 50% for GEN/OBC/EWS and 45% for SC/ST) of the qualifying examination must be produced at the time of admission. Any shortcoming in the marksheet/certificate will not be considered.
The candidates are required to report at the respective School/Department Office and to complete the formalities such as filling Admission Form, deposit admission and semester fee, submitting all the required documents at the respective Department at the time of admission.
Admission and semester registration fee will be paid online through SAMARTH Portal for which the concerned HoD will provide the link after verifying all the documents. No fee will be accepted in cash
After declaring the Merit list, candidate should ensure to make them registered and to deposit the course and admission fee within the given time for counseling. After that no candidate will be considered. Waiting list will be declared on the basis of admission granted from the Merit List.
The candidates who have applied in the category of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD/Uttarakhand Domicile are required to produce the valid certificate of the same at the time of admission, issued by the competent authority.
If the information furnished by the student at the time of admission is found to be incorrect/ misleading, his/her admission may be cancelled at any time
After granting admission, Anti-Ragging Affidavits is mandatory for all the students shall be filled by the students through online by logging on to www.ANTIRAGGING.in or www.AMANMOVEMENT.org.
If any students, after taking admission wishes to withdraw admission, he/she must apply for the same well in time. Fee refund will be made as per University/UGC norms.

Important Instructions

All Admissions will be provisional and subject to verification of original documents
The students submitting undertaking for not producing any Certificate/documents must submit that certificate/document within the time as undertook by him/her.
Candidates who have completed 12th in the previous years and other Board students who have received their mark statements can also apply.
Admissions will start only after the 12th results are declared by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Kindly read the instructions and prospectus thoroughly before submitting the online application. Incomplete or applications with wrong data will be considered invalid.
On successful registration of the online application and payment of the application fees, you will receive a Unique Identification Number (UIN) through SMS and E-mail to your registered mobile number and E-mail id.
On completion of filing of academic details you would receive an SMS and email with Application number(s) and UIN which can be used for future reference.
No offline admissions will be done in the College. Hard Copies of the application form will not be sold in the College.
No free applications will be given for Self-Financed Courses and PG Courses.
